He is a strategic genius; he knows how to patiently await interface with the right people who are open to reasonable adjudication. He was also very proactive at advising us to go to traffic school and earn significant community service hours PRIOR to the court date. This was smart and effective. Again, he understands HOW to completely represent a client. We NEVER felt like a number in a "mill". I was extremely impressed with how professional and responsive Douglas was through the whole process of meeting my traffic court needs. Every time I had a question or clarification he responded in a timely manner and assured me every step of the way. My court date was moved due to the court system being closed during COVID-19 and he stayed on top of it, adjusting schedules and then communicating about the outcome the same day. The outcome, in my case, was exactly what he told me to expect as well (reduction in the charge and no license or insurance points), showing that his experience handling traffic matters is worth reaching out to him. I got a speeding court order in Wake County and reached out to this law office. The lawyer was very professional, on top of things, got my records, and represented me at the Court. In the end, I just had to pay a fine but there is no impact on my license and insurance. This really saved me a lot of trouble as an international student not familiar with the US traffic court.
