My husband and I are expecting a baby this winter via surrogacy, and Jennifer Tharrington assisted us on all of the pre-birth legal with our NC-based surrogate. Jennifer was kind, informative and thoughtful from the first moment we contacted her, keeping us abreast of all updates and making sure we were prepared for each milestone and deadline. I hired Atty Haas to defend me in a custody dispute with my exwife. I provided them with enough information for the judge to make an informed, obvious decision on where the kids should go to school (one of the highest rated schools in the state). Atty Haas was late for the court appearance and had ME putting together all the information for the judge while I sat in courtroom. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. I then received a bill for the time I spent putting the info packages together. It goes without saying that we were working from a place of weakness in front of the judge. The judge did not find in our favor. Maybe if she showed up on time with the work done, there would have been a different result. We will never know.

She did an excellent job on giving me advice on my specific issue. If I ever needed an attorney I would definitely choose her. Excellent service!!

My husband and I had a really wonderful experience with Jennifer Tharrington and her law firm! We live in Sweden and she worked with us for the legal portion of our surrogacy in North Carolina. We could tell she was highly experienced with surrogacy law and really worked with us well, even when we had issues arrise with things that happened here in Sweden. Working between two different countries law systems is not an easy task, so cheers to her! Her and the other staff at the law firm were always positive, which really helped to calm any worries we had along the way. We highly recommend Jennifer and the law firm!

Angela is my custody attorney. My child's mother has consistently lied and tried to alienate me from my child. I have always wanted to be a father and Angela has helped me in this process. While other attorneys tell you what can't happen as a male, she has fought for my rights as a father in court as well as in mediation. As a person who always wanted to "raise" their child & not be relegated to a weekend or a playdate dad she has always heard my concerns and helped make that come to fruition. I only hope she will continue to aid me in my quest to be a "father" and not a paycheck or weekend dad.
