I highly recommend the Maginnis Law Firm! Earlier this year I was sued for a substantial amount of money. The claim was not justified but, nevertheless, I had to deal with it. I immediately got on the phone and called several attorneys. One of them referred me to Maginnis Law in Raleigh (Edward Maginnis and Shawn Howard) saying that they were the best to handle my civil case. I left a message and within a couple of hours I received a call from Ed Magginis himself who was very easy to talk to and explained the whole process to me. While he didn't make any promises, he was very confident that he could help me based on what I told him. He was very straight forward and honest and I felt I could really trust him to do everything possible to get this situation resolved for me. I hired him and his firm to represent me and I am SO excited to report that it was the best decision I could have made. The case is being dismissed and I can finally move on and stop worrying. Having never gone through any kind of legal procedure, Mr. Howard made this process as smooth as it could have been. After having months of issues with an employment dispute, Mr. Howard was able to get this resolved within a week. It was difficult for me to even get a response from my employer regarding my wage and hours. Thanks to Mr. Howard's quick action, I'm finally able to have this matter resolved. While dealings with legal matters are many times not pleasant as was this one, my experience with Maginnis Law was very good. Shawn Howard and Ed Maginnis did their best to represent my son's estate in a legal system which clearly protects the guilty and further victimizes the victims.
