I just want to say that Marissa Thompson of Canon and Thompson was a wonderful attorney she defended me and handled everything for me had all charges dropped. Her legal assistant Karakept in constant contact with me the Firm was fairly priced and did what was right by me I would highly recommend the firm of Canon and Thompson to anyone.

We hired her to represent my son. She told us there should be no problem getting him out of trouble. After she was paid she said that if he did not sign the plea she provided he would never see the light of day again and yes those were her words. She also said the jury would be made up of old men for Taylorsville and my son would be guilty before he walked. In the courtroom. It waa not physically possible for him to do something of the things he was changed with. He had no criminal record at all and is doing 12 - 17 years. I have since heard he's not the only one she's done this to. I've also heard from everywhere about some habits she has that would explain her worthless behavior.

Don't waste your time with her she's in it for the money so she can go on more extravagant vacations

Highly expensive lawyer compared to the rates of other local lawyers. I think I got three letters notifying me of my next court date. Also one phone call about my case. If I could give 0 stars I would. We went to court and she had basically no facts about me and my side of the story. She knew my charges that's about it. I think she put very little time into my case 7,000 dollars later. Highly recommend going with another lawyer. On top of that she also helped me get another $1500 in court fines that she didnt bother to try to get some sort of payment plan after I just paid her my savings for the year. She will help you spend a lot of money and ruin your life but that's about it. Also spoke to other attorneys who handled cases similar to mine and they said I should never had plead guilty but Ashley was all about that Go to Bill Baity or David Minor. They will actually try to help you.
