On a motorcycle trip to the Dragon's Tail near Robbinsville NC, I unfortunately met a NC State Trooper who gave me two moving violation tickets. Obviously, I were not very happy (even though I might have deserved them). I went to the Robbinsville courthouse to see what I could do - the VERY nice ladies there told me that one ticket could probably be dismissed, but I would definitely be getting points on my record for the second. My husband recently received a speeding ticket while traveling in Swain County. I did not realize that NC has some of the strictest driving laws in the country i.e. mandatory court appearances, etc. We live in Michigan so that was completely out of the question. When we got back home a few days later, we had several letters in our mailbox from traffic attorneys. Our fine was reduced and so were the points. I recommend him to anyone with a traffic ticket and would definitely use him again, although I hope we can pay careful attention to our driving so we won't have to use him in the future! One thing is for sure, if you are not from the area pay careful attention to speed limit changes.
