I worked with Melanie Cox on a recent legal matter. She was nothing but professional and kind during what could have been a difficult situation. She advised me numerous times in a variety of scenarios. She was flexible with my time and needs. The office team was so quick and responsive. Also, if Melanie needs to bounce a question off her partner, she has her husband Chris Cox to work with as well. Great team! If I have other legal matters, I will certainly turn to Melanie and Cox Law Firm again.

I hired Chris to help with my divorce/alimony/custody issues and could not have been more pleased. The attention to details and dedication to my case were outstanding. Very responsive to calls and questions.

After visiting three attorneys during my separation from my ex ( and picking the wrong one ) I was out of everything that I worked for in 18 years when my ex left me with two minor children. Needless to say I didn't have any faith or trust in lawyers. Around a year later I got laid off from a six figure job to a small five figure job. My ex wasn't happy. I had too get child support modification. When I met Chris I really felt that he would help me. He didn't sugar coat anything but gave me options on how I wanted to proceed. He negotiated with my ex's attorneys and helped me greatly. I wish I had him as my attorney during my divorce. I would use his counsel again .Hopefully a prenup.

Child custody and marital property distribution are just a couple of the legal issues they will pursue with vigor and tenacity. How do I know all of this? I'm a lawyer myself and I know I have my hands full when dealing with these two.

Chris Cox is truly an exceptional attorney and a just a wonderful, genuine and kind person. Very easy to talk to and very understanding. Does a phenomenal job and makes time for you. I would highly recommend Chris and his staff if you need an attorney.

Chris Cox is an excellent lawyer. I had a free consultation with him at first. He clearly cared about my situation and didn’t try to sway me based on what would be best for him, he advised me on what would be best for me. When I finally came back and decided to use his firm, he remembered our conversation and was upfront about his pricing. He took time to do the job right. Revisions did cost money but Chris Cox is thorough so everything gets done correctly. He helped me to think about some things I hadn’t thought about and he made sure the document was drawn up with the updated statutes in mind. It’s almost Thanksgiving now, and lawyers get a bad rap, but Chris Cox is a good one. Very thankful.
