I had difficulty finding an attorney who would take on a relatively small but critical job I needed done as soon as possible to comply with NC Utilities Commission filings for a new franchise business. I contacted Mr. Scalise through the NC Bar Directory and he returned my call. He understood the need I had and what it required on his part. We exchanged a few emails and a couple of days later he stopped by my house to pickup the forms from me and, after completing his section, filed them that same day. He called from his car to let me know that I had forgotten to give him the required bank checks payable to NCUC. He stopped by his bank and got them drawn on his business account and I reimbursed him through his online payment service. I literally never left my house from the initial call to the final filings and only owed him for the few hours he put in on the engagement agreement. I feel he went above and beyond on my behalf to get this done quickly and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dane Scalise came highly recommended from a friend of mine. I am incredibly thankful for the connection. Dane is not only truly knowledgeable but extremely friendly. We consulted with and hired Dane Scalise to represent us after a licensed contractor failed to complete the obligations of our contract requiring that we spend money out of pocket to fix. The contractor then refused to reimburse us our monies. Dane was very attentive to our case and continued to send correspondence even as the other party tried to stall and put this off.
