John took excellent care of me during this unfortunate time. I had a lot to worry about (totaled car, PT, etc.), but I did not have to worry about the legal stuff. John answered the phone every time I called with questions (at least 5 times) and he was very gentle, yet straightforward. I couldn't have asked for better care. 10/10 service from start to finish. Sean Buchanan is by far one of the worst attorneys we've ever dealt with. He purposefully withheld evidence and acknowledged doing so, because he did not think his client was innocent of the crime they were being accused of.  His client is now serving a sentence for something they didn't do, because Mr. Buchanan refused to bring in witnesses, document evidence, and present evidence to the court. We would not recommend Mr. Buchanan to anyone. We've spoken to people who have encountered him and they have disclosed to us that he is infamous for being a horrible criminal defense attorney.

I'd give Jim Slater and Slater and Zurz a 10 Star if I could. Jim was extremely responsive from my initial inquiry onward. He listened very carefully and with empathy to what had happened to me. Jim and his partner took a lot of time and both did an extensive analysis of my case and were very honest and upfront with their advice on how to proceed. I couldn't have had a better experience with Jim Slater as he is a very caring, sincere and great lawyer. He also gave me his personal cell from Day 1, took all my calls and spent a lot of personal care determining the best course of action for my situation. Jim Slater, and Slater and Zurz are TOP notch! Call them, you'll be so glad you did!
