again another 1 star review bc I don't have the option for 0. now I am going to be taking these people to court bc they have the WORST employees who got their little degrees out of the yellow pages. I completely paid off my garnishment (& if you see my other review it explains everything). now, they are telling me I owe $577 and ms colette decides to tell me -- a CSU grad, current law student, and an employee at a top credit card company -- about interest and how it is applies. what she doesn't know is, the aforementioned, and also I have my docket from bedford court. what I read on my docket is the same information I was telling her -- Ellacott parkway sent me refund checks, directly to my home. I tell her "so we need to circle back and see why they sent me these checks," she catches an attitude and tells me "I don't work for you," and honey, im glad you don't bc I'd fire you in a heartbeat. ANYWAY! I then proceed to tell her I know how interest is accrued, how it is applied, and if you have the judgement that was filed in 2020 and then it was put in place in 2023, the interest should've been applied in this amount, correct?correct. so now, as you are the legal representation of Ellacott, why did your client send me refund checks while I am paying off a garnishment order, from them, and then coming after me for more money? "well, I don't know, you'll have to do the leg work on that yourself," so why are you a lawyer? better yet, HOW are you. a lawyer and that's the best you can give me? your client went through the trouble of again garnishing my wages, but didn't tell you they sent me refund checks during the garnishment and you're telling me I have to chase them down for my money and why they are again garnishing my wages? I am a single parent of TWO and one child in private school and you all are coming after me again for 25% of my wages with no just cause and can't even talk to your client?? I'll post my docket right now to show proof, but I'll do that in court. and best believe, I have phone records, a detailed record of conversations, monies that were taken from my checks, and then some! so since we want to keep coming after me...bring it on! not getting a single dime from me!!

if i could give them 0 stars, I would. I was notified 3 years AFTER the fact that my wages would be garnished. the problem was, the information i got from my recent apartment, this “law” firm, and the courts were always different! 3 years after the fact, ellacott parkway decided to garnish my wages at 25% — as a single mother of 2, you can only imagine how much this set me back. went to court, $200 fixed amount .. okay whatever. the full amount of $3,345.36 ends up being deducted w. my last payment being in 08/2023. SOOOOOO WHY DID I GET A LETTER SAYING I STILL OWED $577?! i called quickly & the second lady i spoke w. i explained the issue & she blatantly told me “i don’t care what ADP says, your employer has not sent us all of the funds,” (mind yall i work in corporate america at one of the BEST companies, period) even though i am telling her “under post tax deductions on my checks, it says “$3,345.36” and she tells me “that’s not what you’re seeing,” and was EXTREMELY rude. how are you to tell me you don’t care, & what i am or am not seeing but attempting to take MORE of MY $$?! & not even attempting to LISTEN w.out getting smart. extremely unnecessary & i would NEVER do business w. them. i even had to google them to find their phone number bc their little letter didn’t have contact information.

All I have to say is, "UNPROFESSIONAL"...PERIOD++! I will never recommend them & all I have is, if you are being garnished by them, watch your garnishment distributions. They will try to rip you off. I never seen so many grown professionals, so they say they are, play the games they play!
