I’m was in Canton, Ohio for trading with Xerox and made some very poor decisions which would have caused me to lose my job at xerox and could have lost my 100% disability from the military, and including jail time. I have never been in trouble before and didn’t know what to do. I was released on my own reconnaissance for the weekend. Luckily, Mr. Haupt seen that I was very upset and came over and talk to me, calmed me down, and told me I would be alright. In the short time that I’ve known him, he went above and beyond to help me out and I truly do not think anybody else could’ve helped me the way he has/did. He has morals and ethics that I have not seen in very many men, and I can’t express how thankful I was for him to be in the court room with me today. If anybody is looking for an excellent lawyer with extraordinary people skills that actually cares, this is the man you need to call. Nolen C. Hodges

I was just fighting a domestic Violence charge. He was able to get my charge lowered even with the prosecutor supplying evidence. Took every bit of evidence possibly to fight my charge for me. Very reasonably priced and was amazing to work with!

Jimmy goes above and beyond he really helped me out and fought for me he is really understanding affordable honest and very personable . 10/10 recommend him .

I will always recommend Jim. My significant other was facing several(5) charges which thanks to Jim he only ended up with one charge. Jim was patient, compassionate and very well structured. He was very knowledgeable and guided us the entire way. He was always on time, kept constant communication and even took payment plans due to the personal issues we had. I can never thank Jim enough for all the hard work he did. HE IS A FANTASTIC LAWYER!!

Hardly ever retuns calls or text messages. James never in office unless you want to make payments. Was totally unsatisfied with his workmanship.

Was a phenomenal lawyer for me. Always got back to me within a timely manner. Was looking at several felonies and he got my whole case dismissed due to him catching some errors they made in the arresting process. Smart guy and is there to work for you not them.

Told him about my case and info said he could help and when it was time to help he didnt help at all didnt even fight for me when i asked him to.Took my money an didnt do nothing. I do not recommend.

I too learned the hard way that Jim takes the money and runs. His specialty appears to be finding people who need help while under distress, providing false hope and that's where it ends. BADLY. In our situation he allowed a child with zero prior history to be convicted by an officers opinion. That's right folks...zero evidence, just the officers opinion. By the time we arrived at our early morning court date, he had already met with a prosecutor and they decided my child's fate; again with no supporting evidence. I regret placing my faith and trust in Jim.

If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would. If your reading this DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!! Not be confused with his father, which I’ve heard was a great attorney. Haupt Jr. was the Worst decision I ever made. Extremely hard to get in touch with. I used to have to try and physically catch him at the office to be able to ask even the simplest of questions. He just about never returns phone calls. I feel he takes on more than he can handle for sure. He talks a good game as most lawyers do but this one doesn’t keep good on the things he’s going to tell you. I could go on and on about my experiences with him but I’ll save that cause what’s done is done. As I said though if reading this do yourself a favor and run in the other direction, cause all he’s going to do is take your money and do the bare MINIMUM he could barely even keep up with the my court dates. I’d have been better off representing myself !!! If your looking for a great attorney and person as well Eugene O Byrne is the way to go. He’s always been my attorney and got the job done wit he best outcome as possible. I should’ve never took a family member’s advice and went with anyone other than Eugene !!! I’ll never make that mistake again!!!! James gives attorney’s a bad name. Hiring this dude was the biggest mistake EVER !!!!!! If you see this RUN !!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
