I'm in eviction court myself and I'm in court because I had to call board of health and the same day I called the landlord and his wife showed up around 7 pm with a 3 day evection notice. I've been in court since 09-08-20 over a year because his expensive lawyers keep continuing the trial date. If the landlord is willing to accept rental aid then by the cares act of 2020 that landlord can not evict you. And if they force you to pay get receipts and video everything so you won't be screwed over in court!

Honestly, I'm not sure why this organization still exists. Ive tried several times for assistance without success. They are great for referring to lawyer referral services and handing their number out like free flyers and business cards at convention, maybe dum dums at Halloween. This sounds like an advertising ploy to assist lawyers seeking clientele than to really help those that need help outside of getting their security deposit back. A rock is more helpful than legal aid. Do not recommend.
