I contacted them about helping me file bankruptcy and they won't help me because I am not a vet, my wages/bank account aren't being garnished, and my utilities aren't shut off. It doesn't seem to matter that I lost my job of ten years due to illness, that I am a single parent, and have zero income. Yet I don't qualify for legal aid!!! Ridiculous!! Something should change here.

I am really grateful for what they did for me, they were all helpful. I did not have any difficulty to reach them. My caseworker was Ms.Jenny Zellars. Wow, I still remember her name. She was awesome. Thank you.

i agree with the previous review.. difficult to reach and when i did get to speak to someone i waiting a long time and she was quite rude and did not seem to the know the landlord/tenenat laws, gave me bad advise and rushed me off the phone.

I have called them 5 times today, and Friday of last week. When I called Friday the receptionist told me that no one was in the office to help me, and I was just informed that they are in the office on Friday. Every time I call, everyone is busy and they tell me if I would like to call back I can. Waste of my time...........

I would have to agree with the previous reviewer who spoke so glowingly about Ms. Moes. In fact, I would wholeheartedly recommend this fine litigator to anyone; she handled my foreclosure case in the best possible way. If you want to know the truth, I didn't realize how essential it is to have such a skilled attorney until I had to come face to face with the prospect of losing my house. I was so desperate and Ms. Moes really came through for me. I really can't say enough about her, except to say that her work at the legal aid society, it seems to me, is as admirable as it is under appreciated. I wish attorneys like her could somehow be cloned, replicated, and then dispersed all over the country in times of need. I guess until the technology exists in the meantime we'll just have to settle for just her. Thanks again, Ms. Moes! I've got my house back thanks to you.

Ms. Moes is simply the most forthright, skilled, and personable attorney I have ever encountered. She is so diligent and so compassionate with her clients that it took my breath away, in much of the same simple way a child admires a magic act. She is, in fact, a born attorney.
