Had a wonderful working relationship with Taylor McIntosh at Godbey law downtown location for a significant amount of time. He left for undisclosed to me reasons. The individual I was stuck with by the firm immediately alienated me on our first call with the bad news of Taylor leaving, a less than positive attitude for having in his words been "stuck with 20 clients that he can't charge" apparently first meeting is like starting over with free consult. I asked him to familiarize himself with my case and I would get back to him after holidays. That was November, yesterday he berated and offered my money back no less than 4x in a 3 minute phone call because I sent an email requesting follow-up on my case and didn't know what his name was since no contact when he lied about reading my file and getting back with me. Blamed me harshly etc. I strongly recommend Taylor McIntosh however the nameles jerk who bashed me and lied to me not so much.

Edwin helped me in my small claim case a few years ago. He was very professional and did a very good job with very fair charge. Last week I approached him for my another case. Although he is not licensed in my state, he still patiently provided some very helpful analysis and critical points. I appreciate his professional way to communicate with me in timely manner and provided some very helpful information without charge.

Mark Godbey & Associates has represented me very successfully over the years through different types of legal issues. They are quick to respond to my needs and questions. Mr. Godbey himself personally responds to many of your inquiries, something not seen at most Law firms usually having a secretary respond first. Also the firms work environment is clearly professional and fluid as all of our conversations were CC to his paralegal. While deployed to Afghanistan and able to only correspond over email, this was crucial in a time sensitive manner for myself. I was able to have documents sent to me by Stephanie King almost immediately and without question. She was able to retrieve paperwork I thought would take at least a week in a matter of hours. The truly operate as a functional team that is due tremendous recognition. Mrs. Bruneman was my attorney for my divorce (also while deployed to Afghanistan) and she like Mr. Godbey was extremely helpful and understanding. Making herself available to answer my questions and always going the extra mile to help me out in my case. She made a normally unpleasant experience (from what I've heard it can be), a seemingly easy and very uneventful experience. Also their prices seem insanely reasonable for such an established and successful firm. I don't know if this is because I am in the military (it was never mentioned that I was receiving military discounts) or just really great rates. I did not see a lot of normal fees I hear of from other people's lawyers. I emailed Mrs. Bruneman, I would say, excessive amount of times. Not once did I notice that my rate increased from when I originally hired her. Overall this is a great firm that will truly do whatever they can for you. If you need a hard working Lawyer and to feel like a big shot with a top of the line team working for you behind the scenes (I felt like an elite business professional knowing I had so many people on my cases). Then Godbey Law comes highly recommended from me. Great people!

We were so lucky to find Ed. He helped us through a very sensitive case caring about every last detail until the end. He came to court prepared all 100 times we had to be there. He made it so our kids were safe and well taken care of. He is a godsend really.

I had Mr. Vardiman several years ago in my custody cases. He was very nice and very professional. He got me the results I wanted exactly. I highly recommend him.

He was good about scheduling meetings around our work scheduled, but after I retained him, there was almost no communication and he showed up for court late. I think he was hung over. He was ok in the court room after he showed up, but sometimes I had to harass him to get answers to my questions. Also, a letter he sent to my ex wife had typos and grammatical errors and misinformation. I'm sure the letter was not taken seriously.

I have been a client of Mark's for over 25 years now, and I always feel comfortable contacting him for all my legal needs. I have come to trust Godbey and Associates for any legal matter that arises, for I know that they will be honest and forthcoming with me as to what I can expect. Both best and worse case scenario are made known. I want to say that I have always been pleased and even surprised at times at how well things turned out in my favor.
