I just called this place and they want a $750 consultation fee! That's outrageous just to talk to someone not even the retaining fees for their service. Terrible.

I hired Amy Wright as my attorney for a child custody case. I live in another state so I was not able to meet with her till the hearing but felt that she communicated very well in the months leading up to the hearing. I was very nervous about the hearing. She walked me through everything that was going to happen. Upon finally meeting with her for the trial, she made me feel very comfortable, made me for more confident, collected every piece of evidence she could find to help me with my case. I felt that she was on her a game, stood very cool, calm and collected through the very long grueling hearing. Even though I do not know the results of my case yet, I feel as though Amy did everything she could do to help me win it and I would highly recommend her.

I hired Kristie in early 2018 and my trial did not take place until 2020. I felt that my case with her was put on the backburner, she was constantly busy with another case, at a hearing or a trial. She kept telling me she wanted me to "build my case", though I had more than enough information regarding the situation. After waiting for two years, we went to trial. During the trial I felt she did not do to the best of her ability to represent me. She allowed the opposing attorney to ask me questions that were not related to the case without objection. We filed for partial attorney fees to be covered regarding a specific incident that occurred while awaiting trial, but she did not have her information prepared and answered every question stating she did not have that information. I spent two years "building a case" that I was already prepared for and spent well over $10,000 to end up feeling unsupported and as if it was not a big deal we lost. I will also state that during our phone calls, that I was being charged for, subjects completely unrelated to the case were brought up and I would remain friendly and respond to not come off completely rude, but I do not feel it is okay to bring up side subjects while you are charging a client to speak to you, extending the call from 25-30 minutes to an hour or more. She was recommended to me and stated to be a "shark", but unfortunately I did not get to see that. My case seemed unimportant to her and while she is friendly, I would not use her professional services again.
