I have retained Attorney Smith twice, for basically unrelated loose ends from a messy divorce. He did not handle the divorce, as I did not know him at that time, but I wish he had! The three matters he handled for me were (1) getting rid of a protective order that should have expired but hadn't (2) having the record sealed on a misdemeanor charge resulting from the divorce and (3) several years later getting the spousal support payment reduced by 40%.
