We worked primarily with Matt Nakajima and Daphne Mahre (also occasionally with Charley M. Rittgers and Gus Lazares). All of them are at the top of their craft---they were caring and concerned, helpful, thoughtful, efficient, timely, and expert in their work for us. This was our first experience being represented legally in a case of damage claims stemming from an automobile crash in which we were not at fault. They took care of everything, leading us through the processes skillfully and successfully. We chose to work with the firm of RR&N on the basis of a recommendation from a lawyer friend whom we trust. My husband and I were in a serious car accident in 2021. We were referred to RR&G by a friend who's also a prominent attorney. But once we started working with them, Matt Nakajima and his paralegal Daphne Mahle were tireless advocates, Daphne in particular, spending hours on phone calls with billing departments and insurance reps. Matt kept us informed throughout the process and coached us thoroughly for depositions and ultimately for the settlement hearing. We were able to settle for an acceptable amount, much higher than the insurance company offered. Although RR&N were prepared to go to trial, Matt was candid about the risks involved.
