As a social service professional who’s constantly working with clients in need of legal support or advice, I can truly say Legal Aid has NEVER assisted myself or any of the clients I’ve worked with. They’re impossible to get a hold of and when you do finally get in contact with someone it’s a run-around. However they have absolutely NO problem reaching out to other social service organizations and utilizing OUR services. Legal Aid is single-handedly the most important, yet disappointing resource in Franklin County.

Horrible service, but what could you expect for free service. You pay for what you get. Oh I forgot I was free. Nothing for nothing leaves nothing. Sorry service!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel this is exactly like my landlord I'm being pacified seems like their on my slum landlord side I'm making copies of emails and my lanlord text to show judge . I was told in email in April I'd get attorney I'm still being told that probably be in court soon . Miss Britman said I didn't call back I was on her vmail not to mention I sent screenshot of calls now looking back see in April I'd get attorney she said no attorney. I'd rather you just be honest if you chose to not help

If your going through a divorce and you have kids apparently they were not represent you according to their intake person that answered the phone.

I received assistance through LASC when my employer unjustly terminated me and then hired a third-party company to falsify information about me to Ohio Unemployment. My case was assigned to a fantastic attorney and his assistant. Both were equally helpful when it came explaining to me the process and both were very timely with getting back to me via email and phone correspondence. We built such a wonderful case thanks to their expertise and my paper trail that my previous employer backed down and surrendered. LASC gave me the confidence I needed to slay the corporate dragon.

I received assistance from LASC they interviewed me throughly they got all the info they assigned Ted to my case, I gave Ted everything he needed to be great Ted ran with it from there he made all appointments and kept that paperwork up to date. He presentations were fantastic, he never gave up on it and when I got discouraged he encouraged me to hang in there. In the end we won our case and I have Myself and Ted to thank, I’m really grateful for the work LASC did !!! Great people!!

We told LASC the exact thing the ODJFS was doing to not give benefits to people and they got played by the ODJFS attorneys. LASC is a waste of a Law Office. You will not get any help from them. Can I give them 0 stars? They don’t deserve the 1.

I have called this place about numerous different issues and they never can help with any of them. The intake line always gives me phone numbers to 2 different attorneys and states "Call them and see if they can help", I have called those numbers and never got an answered phone call or a returned call from the messages I left. What do you all actually do at legal aid so I won't waste my time calling in the future?
