I was scared, hurt and frustrated. Not sure where to turn for help. I sent a request to Cecil & Geiger not sure what I would get. I received a call from Sydney McLafferty her compassion towards my horrific events, gave me a sigh of relief. That I found the right person for the job. Sydney and Jennifer Streeter helped me, they stayed on top of what was going on with my case and kept me informed. I appreciate them greatly during that time. This accident was probably one of the most devastating experiences I've ever had: being physically altered, the memory loss, unable to speak properly for some time. It's terrible to let my kids and my family see me so beat up. I went from being a top performer at work to being ridiculed by co-workers. My work performance was frustrating to both me and my co-workers. Even simple tasks were such a challenge and it took a toll on me emotionally where I would cry at work in the bathroom where no one could see me. Getting back on the road was (and from time to time is still) a very scary place. It took me a long time to get back to where I am now. There is still progress to be made. I want to say thank you to Deb and Michael for (probably repeatedly) answering my questions and being so understanding and caring. In the beginning of July 2015, my wife and I were in a very serious auto accident, the other driver was at fault. Our injuries severe, my wife was life flighted. This spring I was involved in a serious accident. I spent 9 weeks in the hospital and a nursing home recovering from my injuries.
