The associates at Amourgis were very helpful with my debt case! Attorney Arlene Potash was very nice and responsive with all questions and concerns I had regarding my case. They work with you do to what can fit your budget and pay schedule. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an attorney in the Columbus area!

The lady im working with is pleasant her name Angela but I should of looked at reviews first my case has been going on for at least 2 months still not filed and I had appointment today by phone at 3:30 so I left work at 3 to accommodate myself and them and no phone call the same as lady im working with they don't communicate if they can't keep appointments I'm really exhausted with them

I am new at this whole thing. Was very confused and worried scared I was going to just lose so much. and Arlene Potash was very helpful and explained everything to a T for me. I'm very glad I made a quick decision to chose amourgis and associates.

I’m going to be very honest, I had a mostly decent time with this firm. They were willing to do a payment plan for the fees and the conversations (when I had them) were mostly pleasant. Now for the reason for a 2 star review. When I was supposed to have a meeting with my attorney so we could finalize filing, it was supposed to be at 3:00pm on a Friday over the phone. I cancelled all of my plans to facilitate this meeting. Nothing. No phone call, nothing. I phone into their office only to be told that the attorney was “reviewing my file” and would call me back in about 20 minutes. I call back an hour later and was told that he would call be back in 10 minutes (4:20pm). I call back yet again at 4:55 and am told that the attorney had left for the day. I’m an understanding and patient person, however considering the fees Ive paid to file, I am not happy with the lack of consideration shown here and the fact that the attorney wasn’t prepped for my meeting is just mind boggling, especially to someone who worked in a law office and who’s responsibility it was to prepare the files for his attorney!

I've been dealing with Angela Morris as my legal assistant through out my bankruptcy process and I have to say that she has been an absolute delight to deal. Going through a bankruptcy is already scary, but she's managed to make the process easy and very understandable. Everyone else that I have dealt with, including Arlene have been a pleasure and I feel like they truly care.

I was recommended this firm for bankruptcy assistance (chapter 13) and on signing day through discussion with the attorney (Bryan) I decided it was not in my best interest to file and opted not to (June 2021). During the signing discussion I asked about timeline for a refund on my remaining retainer I have provided and was advised it should be only a few business days. I’ve been in contact with the office multiple times via text (Erica) or phone call since then but have been given the run around or no response. Prior to today the last communication I received back from them was on 7/1. I contacted the office again today and was advised I now need to talk to another attorney which I was never informed of prior to me calling them for an update today. I have never spoken with her before and the soonest they can get me in is Thursday @ 12:30. It shouldn’t be this hard to get my refund on my retainer. I’ve been highly disappointed with the communication and client experience after my decision to not file.

Long story short. When I went to get my mail I discovered I was being sued. In that same batch of mail was some information regarding this attorney‘s office and how they could help me, so in a panic I called. Attorney Arlene Potash was kind enough to take my call listen to my tale of woe and then took the time to calm my nerves address my concerns and step-by-step explain to me what would be best for me to do for myself and my family. Attorney Potash spoke to me in a friendly yet professional manner. It was more like I was speaking to a friend rather than a lawyer. She made several claims as to what she was going to do and came through on every single one of them immediately. During this process if I had any questions I would text her and ask for her to give me a call when she got a free minute, never did I have to wait for a response. I was treated as if I were her only client she is the only person during a very difficult time that told me like it is what I needed to do and had the perception to see down the road where I couldn’t. I believe she should be the face of this law firm due to the fact that she can communicate and make you feel like you’re talking to your best friend and not a lawyer. She has been nothing less than a godsend in on behalf of myFamily and myself we are an optimistic future to her she truly is one in 1 million
