I contacted this firm because I needed some legal help. I was assigned to Joe Penko. What seemed like a good experience at the time over the phone quickly turned into a rather unpleasant one as time surpassed. When I called back in mid April of 2022, Joe assured me the issue I was calling about would be handled within 2-3 weeks and would hear back from him. I paid the retainer fee of $699 and all was well then. Joe stated I will reach back out to you within 2-3 weeks after this; well, after sending 4 separate emails and hearing NOTHING back within months, I decided to call and the receptionist who answered the said please give me a moment to contact Joe. I knew after giving her my name and forwarding this information to Joe that he would not take my call. I left several messages, numerous emails, and guess what, not ONE single response back from Joe. To me, this seems very unprofessional. I'm still trying to figure out what I paid the retainer fee of $699 for? The 30 minute phone call? VERY, VERY, displeased with the service I paid money for. To me it seems like NOTHING was done with my case nor resolved at all.
