We live out of state. Finally we trusted the Ohio Bar Association. Jack was our man. He did so much for us. Handled my case professionally. He was sensitive to my feelings and wants. The whole staff was good to us. We are very pleased with the results of our case and highly recommend Jack Hilgeman.

After an accident I had , I wasn't sure who to go with. With Andrew's advice he suggested Jack to me.since they have referred to Jack also, I was glad he did, due to my situation , Jack took great care of me as well as his paralegal Michelle. She is the best in the researching an handling distraught clintes which I can be at times. This review is nothing that can compare to real life, in person with Jack Higelman, and his paralegal Michelle. From the very first day, I was about 6 weeks past my auto accident, and knew something was wrong with my body. I seeked legal advice, as soon as I went through the food chain, with health insurance, doctor to doctor, physical therapy, just to get my first mri. At this point I could no longer handle talking to the at fault auto Insurance adjuster, so I realized I was going to need help. I didn’t want a TV lawyer, I wanted a lawyer with good reviews, that could careless if he had a tv commercial. I found Jack, through two really intelligent friends, of mine that searched personal injury lawyers for me, and his name was at the top of both of their lists. The day I met Jack, and Michelle, I walked in a nervous wreck. Never had to go through something like this. Within the first hand shake with Jack, I instantly felt comfortable, as he gave me a very professional first impression. I explained what happened, gave him all the info I had, but I still was not diagnosed. He encouraged me to not give up, use my own health insurance to figure myself out, and we would worry about debt later. Fast forward. Exactly one year later, and 12 more mri’s I was finally diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder that was brought on from trauma from my car accident. I was a hairstylist of 18 years, and as the time passed, I slowly lost function to my dominant arm, from neck to shoulder to fingers. I was forced to give up my entire career at 34 years old. Everyone kept saying keep a journal of what’s going on. That’s where Michelle, was a huge help. I couldn’t comfortably write down my pain and suffering. She took everyone of my calls, and she became my advocate for keeping track of everything with weekly phone calls, new symptoms, new tests, this facility, that office ect. She was very professional, and on my worst days she was there for me when I called bawling my eyes out. If I wanted to talk to Jack, he would call me back in a timely manner, or take the call on the spot. I was never left in the dark. This became a 2.5 year process, and finally a spinal cord surgery to help my pain and gain some function back, was on year 2. I followed every step and advice Jack, gave me. He held my hand, as well as Michelle, through the biggest decisions. I now have a life long injury. I’m learning to cope, and deal with my disability every day. However during this life changing event, Jack, stayed on top of and fought his hardest, and we ended up winning the max policy limits in my case. The amount of relief to know I was in good hands from the beginning really helped me through the legal steps from my life changing injury. I would recommend anyone with a personal injury to Jack Higelman. He and Michelle, are very organized, and though it was a lengthy process, I didn’t have to stress the entire time about the legal side, because there was so much trust established. If you have a minor to horrific injury, Jack Higelman, and his paralegal Michelle, will help you every step of the way. This whole process is now done, and if you want it done correctly, have patience, and faith, then this is who you need in charge. They were my dream team!
