Love them!!

I never thought I had a chance winning my case, but Jason Starling stood by me and fought for justice. It was a long four years but he never gave up on me. All his office staff were always polite and professional. I’m so thankful Jeremy Burnside introduced him to me. Thank you thank you thank you, Jason! I will never forget all you have done.

Jason Starling fights for his clients and is passionate about getting what is fair and deserved. There were many times during my legal process that I wanted to give up or take what was being offered just to move on. This Review Is Strictly For Mr. Kevin R Kelleher and NOT the Rest Of The Firm. When looking for an attorney, you have to qualify them and not let them qualify you! I have a complex situation, therefore I need an aggressive and experienced attorney! I work in public gov't, we have a union & I am Union Steward with 10+ yrs of experience. Only (1) loss in mediation/arbitration. Each year, just like law students we do mock trials. In gov't there is some [Qualified] State Sovereign Immunity. [Absolute] Immunity is normally reserved for judges, prosecutors, jurors, legislators, etc. However, no one is above the law. I spoke with Mr. Kelleher's paralegal Abby who was completely awesome & has the right approach with clients compared to Mr. Kelleher. When hiring an attorney first you want to check the Ohio Supreme Court Attorney Directory and see when they were admitted into the bar and if they have any discipline. Mr. Kelleher was admitted 11-2019. His lack of experience was obvious in our phone call. Moreover, he was very unresponsive and inattentive, like talking to me was a chore! It wasn't surprising when he stated he had to go as he a "more important" phone call in a few minutes. Don't waste people's time who are looking for an attorney! He already set the tone with the comment from the reviewer about being fired for disabilities. Hell, I could give that woman far better advice than him and I'm not even a licensed attorney yet! LOL Lastly my issue started with the employer failing to abide by ORC 4101.11, 4101.12, 4167.04, which also involved 2913.42 Tampering with Records which is not uncommon in gov't. This lead to violation of 4167.13 due to violating 4113.52 as well as 4112.02 for starters! We're dealing with torts; more specifically Vicarious Liability & Strict Liability! When I questioned Mr. Kelleher, I almost laughed when he couldn't even tell me what options are available, except contact the bar for a civil rights attorney? This in not a civil rights matter! If he had experience, he would have advised me to file complaints with the Ohio Inspector General, OSHA, Ohio Ethics Commission, State Personnel Board of Review, County Prosecutor (with jurisdiction) as well as Ohio Labor Relations Board, the National Labor Relations Board., Ohio Civil Rights Commission and Federal EEOC (you do have to dual file and one, normally the EEOC with lead the investigation) which has been done. Investigations and reviews are in progress with each. Overwhelming & convincing evidence proving the allegations was also sent to each. What this does is hammer employers from all angles while they also go through the arbitration process. It pisses them off and the reason for [RETALIATION], which is also illegal! I'm good at what I do & its easy to see why I'm a thorn in the employer's side. Sadly Mr. Kelleher really needs to get his act together if he is going to be in law starting with how to deal with client as well as be on time for meetings. Don't give excuses! It's attorneys like him that I'm going to law school and often file grievances with the Disciplinary Counsel under the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct for attorneys. I have filed many grievances on attorneys and one judge. The Disciplinary Counsel takes the profession very seriously! Kudos to them! This would have been a great and easy case for him to make money as well as gain some great experience learning about unions and gov't entities. All of the work was done for him! LOL But he has the right to turn down clients. It would have been better for him to say, I just don't have the knowledge or experience to handle with what you're dealing with. Just be cautious if you hire Mr. Kelleher! He is a fairly new attorney and lacks knowledge & experience! Mr. Kelleher handled the matter very poorly! In my view blacked the eyes of the firm and especially Abby! This is the 2nd poor review on Mr. Kelleher. Perhaps the firms partners need to have a one on one with him as the firm is responsible for him! I wish him all the best and hope he gets his act together!

I am very pleased with the service I received from Attorney Britton Hicks. Britton took care of all aspects of my disability request. Britton kept in touch and kept me up to date.
