I was at the end of the line. I contacted McGookey law. After a consultation, I hired them. At this time my house was up for Sheriff sale. That was stopped. My mortgage company was very subborne. The end result was that McGookey law saved my house and also lowered my payments by 30%. I had tried many other options, but they failed. I was very pleased with them. This lawyer touts that he is knowledgable about foreclosures when really all he does is take a retainer fee and do nothing. He uses the same boiler plate complaints for the majority of his cases and does nothing to actually help the homeowner. You are better off doing the legal work yourself than hiring this man and his firm. You will for sure have a better chance of keeping it. I'm still seeking over $13,000 in fees returned for work he didn't do. Avoid.
