I stopped working with Megan Beyland a few months into my custody case. She does not like to go in front of the judge and will scare you into agreeing into things because in her words, the judge will probably give more than this. Megan believes all cases are cookie cutter, which mine was not, very frustrating. Megan also does not respond to emails that are urgent in nature (to me -but I guess not to her) but she will absolutely charge you for reading them whether she responds or ignores you. When I hired a new attorney we went straight in front of the judge at the next hearing and got many of the things Megan told me would be not only impossible- but would likely go way out of my favor.

Megan and the firm did a great job at handling my divorce. The attention they gave my case was sufficient and I never felt misinformed. I would recommend them for any legal needs.
