Eric Strocen is very difficult to work with. He is condescending, will not listen long enough to understand the scope of the situation, while simultaneously telling you that people talking over you is his biggest pet peeve. His main and only focus is money and a retainer, regardless of a paid consultation. His hyper focus and attention to money means he misinterprets a lot with his unwillingness to listen to the client. Run, and fast! He managed to create a large mess at only the consultation. And yes, consultations arent free, and it doesnt appear to be because their time is valuable. He made agreements during the consultation, with the blessing of the Partner, that he wasnt willing or capable of upholding. Had it not been for a personal referral I would have never made it to the consultation yo begin with. The front door is locked. I rang the bell twice, phoned the paralegal and sent two messages just to open the door. Red flag and should have never stepped foot inside.
