Mrs. Courtney Najera handled my case in sensitive yet aggressive manor. She never forced anything on me but provided all legal options to me in a timely and efficient manor and allowed me to decide how I wanted to proceed with my divorce. Mrs. Najera allowed me to regain power when I felt the most powerless. My case was resolved a lot more quickly than I thought was possible. She waited on me to reply to her emails and she respected all my wishes. She never once pushed me to make any decisions hastily. For this I am forever grateful.

i wish I could give is a better start, first i would not recommend this law firm she don't do anythings you ask, and no communication or update with you at all and when you write email she will only respond when ever she want or it really hard to get a hold of her, I will update later if anything difference

She is a great attorney! She gets to know her clients on a personal level. She's fair and will work with you. She's very detailed and explains legal matters so that you understand them. She's prompt returning messages via email and/or phone. You can tell she really cares. I would highly recommend this firm.

Melissa Cornell handled my case very poorly and unprofessionally. I trusted her legal advice and ended up losing everything. I’ve spent the last 3 years trying to reverse the damage she’s caused me. Besides her poor skills as an attorney, she was consistently bad about returning phone calls and emails. Long periods of time would go by before she’d get back to me. Simple issues snowballed into complicated problems, which she didn’t handle well. Her monthly invoices were outrageously high and full of mistakes and duplicate charges. Bringing those to her attention took a lot of time and effort. She was rude, condescending, and anything but welcoming and easy to talk with regarding fixing the problems she created. So now, 3 years later, she’s finally fixed some of her billing mistakes. As for the nightmare legal situation she put my family in- she did nothing to help us. I tried talking with her on multiple occasions & she was extremely rude. I eventually hired another attorney, who immediately began unraveling the complicated mess Melissa Cornell had created, and now I’m in a great place. I know there are many people who’ve had similar experiences with Melissa Cornell. I hope this review will prevent more families from being devastated by this attorney.
