If you need a Criminal Defense Attorney, Jay is THE MAN to call! Unfortunately, I have had to employ the use of many attorneys over the course of my life and I have only been satisfied with the outcome twice. Jay represented one of those cases and is the ONLY attorney I have ever met who does not "negotiate" with the prosecutor for a "deal". I wish I would have come across him sooner. Jay will FIGHT for the best outcome for you. He will not back down. He will take the time to find the violations of the law that the court system would try to slide by on you. I am 100% confident that I would get no better representation than this man would provide. I hope to never need to employ the use of his representation again, and with all the free information he gives probably I won't, but he will be the first one I call if needed.

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE JOEL MITCHELL FOR ANY LEGAL SERVICES OF ANY KIND!!! He will file your bankruptcy petition wrong on purpose to try and rip you off or do something unethical in order to get his way!! He should not be practicing law or allowed in a court of law. I have spoken to other attorney's and they laugh when they hear his name. They have stated he is a joke and do not trust anything he does. They called him a shyster that uses fraudulent or questionable methods in doing business.

Paid an Up Front one time Fee for Bankruptcy. He never called once. Received Court Date and he had Filed in the wrong County. Had to refile to correct County. Still heard nothing till Court sent me the next Court Date. I showed up for court and when met with Judge, Mr. Mitchell did not show. Third and final Court date with Judge, Mr. Mitchell showed up nearly 45 minutes late looking like he just got out of bed. He did not even have all the paperwork. Thank Goodness, I had all the correct paperwork or we would have had a fourth court date. This attorney took the money, made many mistakes, never called once, and missed one court date and was late to another one. I'm sorry, but my advice is to not use this attorney.

Has always answered my questions any time I ask. Seems to know and respect the law and the Constitution. Hands down I would recommend.

He does very minimal wrk. He never reach out to discuss anything. You only c him on court day. All his 5 star reviews are not accurate!! He seems to be very intelligent and confident at his office and in his videos (and that's the reason I chose him to represent me) but he's very timid in court. He's not very approachable nor professional in the way he speaks. Yes, i have had him as my attorney! He say all his 1 star review is fake, but truth is this man just always want to be right. He's lazy. He has a bad attitude. Very dissapointed!! This is a real review!!

Joel K Mitchell is handling my bankruptcy & he has done an awesome job! Anytime I have called he has gotten back with me via phone, text or email within 24 hours with helpful answers to all my questions. And as far as honesty goes, he's very blunt & to the point, not afraid to tell me what to expect & be prepared for... & I totally respect that. I am so greatful for all his help & thankful that I didn't let the negative reviews sway me from choosing him as my attorney! ☺️ 💯

It’s interesting that the only rating this attorney has received above one star just so happens to be from an individual with the same last name as the attorney being reviewed. Granted, “Mitchell” is a relatively common last name, but I find it worth mentioning. I almost gave this dude five stars for one reason, and that reason is because he “represented” an ex of a friend who shall remain unnamed. If you’re embarking upon the nightmare that is divorce or a custodody dispute, love and prayers to you and yours. I’m not here to judge anyone, but I encourage you to turn to God’s Word on marriage and divorce. The Bible has much to say about what God intended for a husband and wife and family matters. You may be surprised to find what God has to say about these matters should you decide to research them yourselves. If you’re the victim (the real victim) in a domestic abuse situation, you’re not alone. You’re not crazy. You matter. You may feel utterly broken, but you can heal and find yourself. No matter how horribly you’ve been treated or what lies you’ve been told, it’s not ok. You don’t deserve it. It’s not your fault. You’re not dumb... at all. You’re not even dumb for staying or for going back to an abusive ex. Please google “trauma bonding”. Look up “gaslighting”. Look up “cPTSD” or “complex PTSD”. Google things about domestic abuse resources. Get help however you can. What’s happened or happening to you is not fair. Accepting that will help you act. Accepting that is not at all the same thing as allowing the abuse to continue. And if you’ve been “allowing” it to continue, YOU’RE NOT WEAK! I don’t care what opinions people vomit out their mouth holes... YOU’RE NOT WEAK!!! You’re trying to survive. You likely feel stuck and afraid. The abuser is weak. It may not seem like that’s the case, but I promise you it’s the truth. Abusers can be men or women. While it does seem that women are typically the victims of male abusers, please don’t assume that’s always true. Men are victims of abuse too! And men, YOU’RE NOT WEAK either. I don’t care who says otherwise... they’re WRONG! You may unfortunately have a tougher road ahead of you because of gender bias, but if you’re being abused, you’re situation is just as valid whether you’re a man or a woman. Law enforcement and the legal process need to ensure gender bias stays out of the courtroom. Thank you to the professionals who get this. Unfortunately, men and women, I wish I could tell you differently, but fightng domestic abuse usually takes a lot of elbow grease, but you can do it. You’re worth it! Your children are worth it! Well, back to reviewing this attorney... he’s a joke. He’s not respected among his peers and behaves like a toddler in court. Don’t let this goober intimidate you. He’ll try, I can almost guarantee it. Worse still, he won’t give in. If I were an attorney, I’d be horrified that this man were my colleague. However, if your ex has retained this man, be prepared for the ridiculous. It’s special. Very special.

Jay Ramey is by far the best criminal defense attorney I know of in the State of Oklahoma. He is professional, trustworthy, always on time, his fees are very reasonable, and he will fight for you. I have seen this firsthand. When looking for the right attorney to represent your best interests give this man a call. You will not be disappointed.
