I called Christopher Missiaen with a quick question pertaining traffic violations and he was nothing but honest and upfront with me. He could have taken my money without mentioning the 50/50 shot I realistically had and I just unknowingly roll the dice. I’ll trust and recommend any lawyer who doesn’t take advantage of people knowing theres really nothing he can do to guarantee a win for a client.

I was unfortunately, unable to hire Christopher. With all of the attorneys I’ve spoken to in the last 48 hrs and all of my life, he has been the most honest, astute and no nonsense. He, truly graciously , and naturally, offered me at least 5 minutes of his time answering questions that you would not be able to find on google or without an appointment for a consultation. My Mother is an attorney and I am fairly familiar with the jargon of law, but every state and county is different and post Covid has made criminal representation and understanding of how the courts will work, almost completely unknown. He was more helpful than most of the online research I’d done in the last two days and when I thanked him, he apologized for being “prickly”. If you are able to hire him, hire him.

Sara cillins represented me for a criminal dui in which I blew a .03 she convinced me she would never be able to beat it in trail, trusting her as a professional with my best interest at heart. I took her advice and pled out. About a year later I went to retain her for a civil matter in family court. Her assistant was extremely rude with me and told me she was unable to take my case do to a conflict of interest; which she again rudely refused to divulge any reasoning or info on. I didn't think much of it until I was in court the following week and the opposing party knew about my inquiry with miss Collins and spoke about it in detail during our proceeding, in order to prove I was able to pay for other ludacris and extremely expensive services. The judge ruled in favor of making me pay for the services, when prior to that he was understanding in this matter. This is extremely unprofessional, not to mention unethical. I now believe this woman misrepresented me in my criminal dui case with malicious intent, as she must know the opposing party. I have already followed up with an Ombudsman Professional to review this, and will be contacting the Board. I hope no one else has to go through what I have with someone who is representing themselves as a trust worthy professional.
