I developed a rare disorder, and lost my career because of it. I applied for SSD on my own, and was met with rejection. I found the process stressful, hopeless, and defeating. I began researching online to find a lawyer. The first person I found showed little interest in me, and acted as though my case would be too complicated for her (despite having so many years of experience). I came across Melissa M. Haggerty, and something told me she was the person I needed. Even though my appeal deadline was less than a week away, she agreed to meet with me last minute. She shook my hand, and told me she wanted my case, and I felt so much relief. She, along with her assistant Erin Daniels, were both so incredibly helpful and understanding. They took the stress away from me, and they made me feel empowered with their confidence that everything would be ok. I had so many questions, and I emailed them often. She has a strong business acumen that comes through in every aspect of her processes. These guys were so helpful!! I was recently hit by a vehicle while riding my bicycle to work and had no clue where to start.
