Nik is a talented attorney who listens and is very knowledgable. He is relatable, I feel he actually cares. I recommend him!

I tried to talk to Nik a few times about a legal issue I've been going through with my employer. On top of this, I was wanting to discuss just my rights in general as an employee and other things. I had emailed Nik a couple times and he didn't respond but I was determined to have ONE lawyer in Portland talk to me as a trans person. I paid Nik $100 ahead of time and wrote up the intake form with info all about what I was dealing with and other issues I was seeing in the trans community. I wanted help and to get what info I could out of a one hour session to help as many people as I could. Nik refused to help because I hadn't met a criteria but he also didn't read or acknowledge any of the details or questions I added to the intake form. He just offered to refund me and did. I just wanted help. I dont want to grieve more friends because of shitty employers. I did get fired while on leave. I also got threatened with a 10 page psychotic letter calling me uncivil. This work ordeal put me into an IOP due to a suicidal ideation in June and I can't get anyone but my spouse to care. That's why the suicide rate is 41% for trans people. I don't wanna add to that but when it feels like you have people who specifically represent LGBT clients they'd show some empathy for them. Idk. It doesn't matter. I don't recommend Nik.

I have and will continue to highly recommend Ms. Cambreleng to colleagues, employers/employees, and friends. She has represented/advised me on two very distinct matters, ranging from workplace bullying and retaliation for whistleblowing and helping me advocate for the rights of a family member experiencing discrimination and harassment. What makes her a particularly effective attorney is her balanced approach. She is a fierce advocate when she needs to be and is not intimidated to go up against the "big fish". Yet, she consistently shows compassion, an ability to assess complex situations, and a deep knowledge of applicable laws, including their limitations. Ms. Cambreling seems to thoughtfully tailor her strategy based on the unique needs of each client and the complexity of the issues. She offered me practical advice and was forthcoming with the information she provided, even if it was not what I wanted to hear, ultimately helping me have realistic expectations for potential outcomes.

I reached out to several attorneys and most blew off my inquiries but I was lucky to meet and obtain Rebecca. She’s very responsive to my emails as well as my many questions and inquiries. She’s on top of things and extremely sharp. Would definitely recommend her for your legal needs

She was amazing! She was super supportive and responsive even when there were weeks at a time of waiting for movement. She was very straight forward and warned me about things that I may not have been aware of. She also made sure to get all the facts correctly written and asked about the opposite party's accusations in terms of truth or not.

Rebecca Cambreleng represented me through what seemed like a never ending wrongful termination suit. The termination happened at a time during Covid when everything was already stressful. Added to that was a manager and employer who refused to admit fault. When I contacted the attorneys office, I was mentally drained and frustrated by the horrendous treatment that I endured just for requesting time off to care for my daughter that ended up in a wheelchair. In spite of all of that, Rebecca stood resolute in her representation of me and worked diligently for the best outcome for me. Rebecca and her team was always available to answer questions and reassure me throughout this process. Rebecca is smart, experienced, attentive, competent and very knowledgeable. We ended up settling prior to trial and I was satisfied with the results. I’m pleased with her service and would recommend her to anyone needing representation.

Nik is awesome, really. He was able to get my case handled professionally and quickly. I was awarded more then I expected. The fact he is so down to earth is defiantly a huge bonus. My wife and I needed help purchasing real estate in Portland. The seller would not use a realtor and wanted to use forms taken off the internet for the Purchase Agreement. We wanted the condominium, so we had Nik go over the forms she filled out. He guided us through the choices we had for the purchase. Nik was extraordinarily helpful in explaining what was legal, what wasn’t, what he thought we could negotiate, etc. We highly recommend Nik. He is smart, thorough, prompt, honest, and has a great sense of humor which definitely helps when you are dealing with a problematic situation.
