Gil represented me in a family law matter in which we were trying to reverse custody where my former spouse had primary custody from birth to 6 years of age. Gil is a seasoned professional with a pragmatic professional approach. He is tough when needed and I would recommend him to anyone who needs quality representation.
We were ultimately successful in the case. He changed my life and that of my family and I'm so grateful for him and his services. I highly recommend him. My only regret is that I did not meet him 6 years prior.

I have been divorced with children for six years and seen many a lawyer in that time. In my experience most lawyers in our area have a wait and see additude towards custody and family matters. This wait and see, and what I perceive as lazy approach, has cost me not only time with my children, but unnecessary amounts of money. During my very first consultation with Mr. Feibleman I knew he was a man of action and results. A lawyer that never used the term "um", or had to look up a statute in my presence impressed me from the word go. Mr. Feibleman's confidence and swift responses are sure to put any client at ease. For the first time since my divorce I am happy to pay for a lawyer that does what he says when he says he's going to do it. There were no surprises, and, under the circumstances, I am very pleased with the service and outcome I received.
If you want the best, hire Gil Feibleman!

It is hard for me to know where to begin. I was in a relationship for 22 years, married in another country because the US didn't recognize same sex couples. I spent 10 years, after my ex walked out on our 3 children and I, in a state of Limbo. Married in another Country but unable to divorce without being a resident there, living in a Country that didn't recognize I was married. Finally Oregon decided to honor same sex marriage. Almost immediately I was served with Divorce papers.
I had no problem agreeing to the divorce. I had been waiting a long time for that. The big problem was that hidden somewhere in all those legal papers was one that said my EX was asking for custody of our youngest child. I had always had full custody of the children, while my ex had parenting time. When she left they were 3, 7 and 9 years old. Suddenly, when my baby is 13 years, old my ex wants to take her from me AND ... move her to California. To say I was a wreck is an understatement. I knew I had to call Gil. I had spoken to him years before when divorce wasn't possible, and he had been so helpful in guiding me through the situation I was in.
Gil and Rita were amazing, supportive and respectful through the whole process. From the minute I contacted Gil he took control of the situation. At first I wondered why my attorney was doing all the work while my ex’s attorney seemed to sit back and watch. I soon learned it wasn't so he could make more money. It was his way of helping the case go in the direction we needed it to go. It took quite some time, but the case did go in the direction we had hoped for. I first was granted full custody of both the minor children (the oldest was over 18, so he was not part of the custody issue.) Later the divorce was finalized. Gil and Rita made sure that we were ready every step of the way and kept me informed about what to expect next.
I can’t say that this was an easy or enjoyable process, but I can say that it would have been so much harder without the guidance and support I received.

Love, fear, doubt, confusion, anxiety, helplessness, resolve... emotions consuming us upon receiving our grandchild into our home shortly after birth. Mother's mental health crisis, Immediate danger, father's temp custody, status quo, hearings, custody evaluation, third party petitioners, Psychological Parents, father's mental health crises, our temp custody... and finally custody!... We have the same status as biological parents now. I can't imagine a more complex custody case than ours. Time? Cost? Stress? A lot. I lost track. Our grandchild is so worth it and I would start all over again tomorrow if I had to... but only with Gil and Rita. Our family is thankful for you in a way I can't find words for.

Mr. Feibleman was always prepared, and 2 steps ahead of his opponent.
I couldn't have gotten as much as I did, if I didn't have Mr. Feibleman representing me.
It was a great honor to have him on my side.

Long story short: After fiddling around with my own attorney and not getting anywhere I fired the guy (that's a long story). My wife had retained Attorney Feibleman for her counsel. Having not gotten the results I wanted from my attorney and finally being at a place where she and I could talk we arranged to work together with Gil, with the caveat that Gil was my wife's lawyer first and foremost. What an experience. It went so smoothly with Gil guiding us both to achieve a reasonable and fair settlement that his client was happy with and I could live with. I had not expected to encounter this. I found Gil to be a superb arbitrator, walking a fine line between making sure his client's interests were protected first but also showing me how an equitable agreement could be reached without crippling me. Frankly, I wish that I had agreed to have him be our arbitrator long ago. Even though we were on opposite sides of the table, so to speak, I respect him and appreciate the effort he made to help us meet in the middle. Well done, sir.

Mr. Feibleman was the only lawyer of four that was successful in my case and did so without having to go to court. Extremely knowledgeable, has an extensive network and infused a sense of realism when I wanted things that weren't realistic. He was fair, frank and communicative.

I have had many interactions with attorneys in my career. When I needed an attorney for a divorce Mr Feibleman was recommended by a business associate as, "the best attorney they had ever worked with". And you know they were right! For starters he listens to what you have to say. Very knowledgeable about the law. Experience and practicality also comes from an active career. He does not waste your time or money. He delivers. I needed his advice and services again a few years later. All of the above was still true. Mr Feibleman and his staff quickly got to work. The working relationship and support they provided were a godsend in navigating a difficult time for a successful mediation and solution.

I was asked early in my divorce process, "do you have a good lawyer?" My answer at the time was, "well, how do you know?" Then I talked with Mr. Feibleman and within a minute, that question came back into my head and I knew the answer to my own question. You know you have a good attorney when you can say with confidence that he is intimately knowledgeable of the law. He is calm and confident. He is patient enough with you to answer even the smallest of questions. He keeps you informed every step of the way. He makes you feel like you are his only client. He tells you the truth. He will fight for you. Mr. Feibleman has all of those qualities and more. He is an absolute professional who worked hard for me from the moment I hired him all the way through until the divorce was finally done. He refused to put up with the opposing attorney's delaying tactics and forced real settlement conversation between the two sides. He let me know when my expectations were too high and when they were too low, always explaining the legal reasons why. Not only is he unbelievably knowledgeable about divorce law, he also knows the laws as they pertain to military members (which is seemingly rare). He is the sole reason why my divorce ended as positively and as quickly as it did, and I only wish I had hired him sooner (and first).

Gil and his staff provided excellent service for me during my recent divorce proceedings. He is thorough and thus well prepared. When my ex-wife and I seperated and agreed to a division of property, I had thought the divorce was going to be a simple, civil separation until her attorney served me with papers demanding a large sum of money. Gil was able to reduce this to a minimal, fair amount and finalize the divorce for me without taking the case to court. I would certainly recommend him.
