Ms Litowich represented me in a very high conflict divorce and custody case. I just cannot say enough great things about her. She is professional, intelligent, full of integrity and morals, which is soooo rare and hard to find in an attorney. She takes family law very seriously, and really goes above and beyond to make sure that you and your family are taken care of in every aspect. She listens, and you do get results. Judges and other court staff respect her, which can be tricky for a female attorney, since the court of law is still very much a "man's world". I was fighting for the most important thing in my entire life, my child, and Sarah understood the high stakes. She REALLY cares about the best interest of the child. She is easy to contact and communicate with, and her paralegal, Amy, is on the ball and extremely kind and pleasant to deal with. Don't mess around hiring anyone else, when the stakes are as high as custody/adoption/family issues, you really don't want to waste time and money with anyone who isn't the very best. In my professional dealings with Mrs. Litowich, I found her to be a very strait forward and honest individual; that was willing not only to fight for what was right, but could be an open ear this listen to my frustration about my case and bring a calming understanding of "Why" things were going the way they were. I am a non-resident alien living in New York City, and I got pulled over by a police officer in Oregon while on vacation. I was given a citation for reckless driving and a speeding ticket. Mrs. Sarah Hays accepted to represent me in this double case. Although I should have returned to Oregon at some point, she worked it out so I could stay in NYC for the whole procedure. She expressly negotiated a diversion with the State of Oregon regarding the reckless driving misdemeanor and, eventually, she argued successfully that paying a speeding ticket would have been punishing me twice.
