I hired Attorney Roberts for my 2 dui cases in Lehigh County because 2 other lawyers that I consulted with from the Poconos told me even though I'm from the Poconos I should get attorney in Allentown where the DUIs are. They recommended attorney Roberts because they knew of her. Since I had two DUIs quite a while ago I was really scared about what could happen now having these 2 cases. I didn't have luck with finding a good lawyer in the past and I never wrote a review of a lawyer before but attorney Roberts went above and beyond and deserves it. She helped me stay out of jail and keep my family together which is the most amazing part, plus I still have my job. I knew I would have to take some responsibility but she really prevented a disaster for me so thanks attorney Roberts.

We hired Kate Roberts from a recomendation of my husband's boss. Our son goes to Muhlenberg College and got a DUI last year during Covid. It was based on a very tiny amount of alcohol plus that he had marijuana in his system even though he told he'd smoked a little bit of marijuna at a party a few weeks before the police pulled him over. Who knew you could get a DUI for that, even when he wasn't showing signs to be intoxicated enough for a DUI and the cop told us that???? The DA apparently overruled the cop and said yes, even though he wasn't showing signs of intoxication his blood level has marijunana and it's a DUI automatically. ........bet lots of people don't know that either. Kate spent a really long time explaining all the ways a DUI can happen and really educating us. We appreciated that because we consulted with several lawyers before calling her and they were quoting us alot of money but also not nearly taking the time to explain it all in a detailed way. Guess lawyers think non-lawyers wouldn't understand. Anyhow Kate was really nice about my numerous questions and helped our son get through this without jail and not get kicked out of school. We are forever grateful.

Miss Roberts got me a great plea deal for an old case involving bad checks. Got charged as a felony and she got it knocked down to a low misdemeanor when I came up with some of the money to pay off the bad check. No jail and not even any probation. Just had to pay some court costs and a small fine. Really nice lady on top of that! Sorry but not all lawyers are so nice. This one is

I hired ms Kathryn Roberts as my attorney for a federal case and she takes steps that a lawyer needs to take , and also has very good reputation keep in mind ms Roberts has experience in trials and have won trials before. She does not like to loose she will tell you that once you hire her i trust ms Roberts on my case

I hired Kathryn Roberts years ago and were going through a process on the case , but before hiring ms Roberts i had paid 500 us dollars for 10 min. On a Consultation to a lawyer before ms Roberts, i had let go of that lawyer once i read reviews of ms Roberts and i dont regret i did , even though i lost the money but its really worth it and its being great , thanks ms roberts

Attorney Kate Roberts is a terrific lawyer. She knows her way around a court room. She included us in her thought process throughout the case and she is very knowledgeable. She explained everything that was happening and what all the possible outcomes were. She told us what she was trying to accomplish in the courtroom and the outcome of our case was exactly what she said she was pushing for. She is very nice and I would definitely recommend her.

My original contact with Kate seemed positive and being fairly unknowledgable about the law I didn't hire her because she wasn't available for my court date and I didn't want to continue it. Fast forward 6 months and my divorce attorney recommended her for my situation so I hired her. Kate was always telling me how busy she was with court and whatever other boring things she does. Kate tries to come off as being so much more important than she is. She was hired for a summary offense and a contempt case. She did get me a continuance for both cases, but anyone (including me) could have filled out that paperwork especially since she couldn't even fill out the paperwork without putting the wrong judge's name on it! Once I was back in town, we were to meet to go over the details of my cases but now this was at the end of 4/2021 and after leaving me a message saying we needed to meet for about 2 hours, she changed her mind and said we'd have to do a phone conference for this because of covid-19. I was not ok with this as I have some hearing issues, I asked about meeting somewhere like a park so we could distance from each other but I could still read her lips. She had her ancient unsure sounding assistant leave me a message saying how inappropriate that was and that it had to be a phone conference. I never agreed to this and as the client, she was not helping me regarding my disability nor as her client. She was so concerned with the booking center's request for me to come back in since they didn't get my fingerprints when I was in custody that that's all she was interested in. Also telling my family lies about me that she thinks she knows about me but she doesn't even know what I look like. I fired her, explaining that I wasn't happy because she was handling her own agenda, not what I hired her for. I won my summary case, on my own. But then my other case, even though the PFA office advised me no one could come support me, because of covid-19, Ms Roberts emailed my father, telling him that she went to my hearing and was present for the entire hearing. Then continued to tell my father how most people in that office agrees with her that I'm mentally ill and she didn't understand why I lashed out at her. I didn't lash out at her, I told her she was not doing what she was hired to do and that she either needed to compromise or she was fired. Kate was not my advocate and she certainly didn't care about my best interests at all. She continued to tell people lies about me, regarding what the lazy employees at the booking center alleged blaming me for not being fingerprinted. Like anyone that's in police custody has the power to decide to be fingerprinted or not, right! Kate tried to bill for phone calls that I didn't request her to make even after I advised her that was not my concern. I don't think she should represent anyone since she didn't know how to remove herself from a case. If she's had 10000 clients and didn't know how to do that, she's not going to be the best attorney. I would have given her 0 stars if I could have. I'd only tell an enemy to hire Ms Roberts.

Just hired Ms. Roberts for 3RD time in a PFA case cause my ex thinks she can file a contempt on me and make up a bunch of lies and get away with it. Kate won the 1st 2 PFA contempt cases so I hired hired her again of course. She rocks!!! She explained what kind of evidence the judge will consider and how to use it in court without getting objecting. I already referred a bunch of people to her on some other little cases in criminal courts. No one told me anything but great response and the biggest thing is that she's HONEST and tells you like it really is and whats gonna really happen. So far she's 3 out of 3 in telling me how the case is gonna go. Awesome attorney!

I am writing this review today about a terrible experience that i had in 2016 when i hired Attorney Roberts to represent my now former girlfriend in a drug related case. I paid Kate $5,000 dollars cash as she required to defend the case. There were circumstances that occurred ,without going into great detail, that we decided that Attorney Roberts was not acting in our best interest to defend the case .I was left with no choice but to fire Kate and hire another attorney. When i spoke with Kate over the phone requesting a refund of my remaining balance, and an itemized summary receipt, she immediately became uncharacteristically irate with me and said that criminal defense attorneys DO NOT keep receipts and that the balance of the $5,000 fee had been exhausted! I was very disappointed with my experience with Kate .I feel her behavior was very unprofessional and that i am owed an explanation of how my funds were used and any remaining balance as well!!

The best law firm hands down!!!
