Attny Megan Michael outstanding!!!!

I used them for a complicated estate, spanning over 3 years. I am very satisfied with the service I received, and would recommend them. My personal experience was 20% of my time with Atty. Cook, and 80% with his staff. The office is very good at returning phone calls, but this IS a one lawyer firm, so you may not always get to Atty. Cook himself. All information was passed thru Atty. Cook, but often his staff is actually making the call / taking the call from you. There is a Notary on site which is also helpful. Would use again in the future.

Abele is amazing, he got me everything I wanted on 3 separate court appearances. First he had a bogus PFA dismiss, then won me a full week vacation with my son and then got me an outstanding custody agreement. If he comes off as arguementive it's just his personality as he even states "I'm preparing you for how opposing counsel will question you on the stand". He is very ethical in his approach and is a beast in the courtroom. Also responsive to emails and phone calls. I highly recommend Abele for child custody cases.

Lacked attention to detail, argumentative over the phone, did not educate me on possible outcomes and how long this process could take! Hard to get a phone conference. His partner at time (Nancy Wallitsch) who I met with originally - did not prepare me emotionally or financially for the problems of a high conflict divorce! She painted an unrealistic picture of financial settlement, and retired a year later! Then heard through the grapevine that Abele was getting out of family law! Would not recommend this firm!

Plain and simple,the most honest and bright guy I've yet to meet.I have had experience with many lawyers for business related issues,contract issues,and now divorce.Abele has actually renewed my faith in lawyers who are engaged in the practice of law.During a very emotional time,where thinking is clouded by personal feelings,and emotions,Abele has been instrumental and patient in keeping me focused on matters at hand;Without more of a financial interest. He is actually very busy with his practice,yet finds time to devote to your case; how he does it is beyond me. I'm actually afraid to say anymore nice things about him,for fear people reading this may feel it was not written by an actual client.His degree in tax law also comes in handy. In summary,if you prefer to get into a situation where you are more relieved to get rid of your lawyer than the issue you went to them with, then try someone else.
