Getting one's "affairs in order" is always a stressful and emotional time- doubly so when it's for an aging parent. The folks at Pile Law were wonderful from the beginning of the process through till the end. Both Nego and Donna worked some kind of magic to be able to fit us in, despite the incredibly short time frame we had available. They were understanding of the emotional roller-coaster that accompanies this process, and were on hand with a tissue if needed, or a lighthearted comment to bring some levity to the moment. Attorney Nego listened intently but sympathetically to my dad and his desires and helped him design a plan that he was comfortable with. Paralegal Donna was amazing as she "translated" legalese into terms we could understand and she was such a pleasure to work with. From the warm welcome upon entering the door, through to our dealings with Nego and Donna and the intermediary communication with Yna, I knew we were in good hands. But what made me feel best of all is that after each meeting at the firm, despite the heaviness of the situation, my dad turned to me and said, " these are good people. You chose well."
