If you’re looking to have a good and prepared defense, I recommend looking elsewhere. I had multiple court hearings for my case, and at every single one he was trying to figure out his plan WHILE we were in the court room. He prepared me for 2 months house arrest, telling me I would receive credit for the time I served. WHILE IN COURT the judge actually asked us to step out so that my lawyer could contact the jail to find out if I would receive credit. Something he should have already been prepared for in court. I hired him in November and this court hearing was in February. He had plenty of time to figure out what would actually go on and what to expect. Turns out, I didn’t receive credit, because I was being held on a warrant from a different town. Something he should have done his research on and prepared me for before the day of. In court, he said he’s very confident that when he petitions to get me credit, that he will be successful. I was given 3 months house arrest instead of the 2 which he prepared me for, and he said he has 2 months to figure out a way to get me the credit. Since court he hasn’t contacted me once, I’m now 1.5 months into my sentence. I contacted him asking what was going on, and his response was “sorry, the law is not in our favor.” Something he again, should have known and prepared me for before the day of and now 1.5 months later. I truly wish I hired a more knowledgeable lawyer. He is just lazy and seems to let you expect things that don’t end up happening. My advice, spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I don’t expect to ever be in trouble again, but God forbid I am, I will never hire this attorney again. He just wasted my time 5k later.

I paid him and he didn't show for court. Never got my refund either. My review won't post but friends and family members of the attorney can leave fake reviews. scammers

If I could give zero stars I would.
Tim represented me for a Summary Trial and it was the most terrible court experience of my life. He has renewed my distaste for lawyers in a big way.
When I got to court, the attorney didn’t say hi, didn’t shake my hand. He rushed me at the door, blubbering, stuttering, speaking a million miles a minute, making zero sense. I was thinking the whole time, what is WRONG with this guy? He asked me, “so what do you want to do?” Um, you’re the lawyer. He asked the person that HIT ME, “are you ok with this?” And shook HER hand after the hearing, not mine. He probably traded a google review for screwing me over.
Do your research, look at these reviews, a lot of the positives just might be friends and family. I saw a couple from people who don’t even live in the United States. I have also written a letter to the magistrate and have hired new counsel to file an appeal. The experience has been night and day, I now know what an attorney with integrity is like. Please do not waste your money, I believe the negative reviews here are all true. Google the guy, check out his history. He was awful, really really awful. Mine was just a traffic offense, if he was this bad for traffic court, I can’t imagine how he functions for more important matters. Steer clear of this guy.
The lies continue. Everything I said happened, HAPPENED. I could have elaborated on the mess of an attorney that I was greeted with, but I did not.
I received a $200.00 fine, not $25.00, and took two days off of work because of course, the first hearing was continued. Now I need to take a third day off, and had to pay a $45 filing fee. So no, I will not be thanking the attorney for this outcome. What a joke.
Don’t just read good reviews (from friends and family), read the bad reviews, and the ones that are from actual clients.
The attorney was rude to me, and did not explain anything. If this is the type of work he does as a favor, I can’t imagine the work he does for a paying client.
I am a friend of the paralegal that the attorney terminated, but that has nothing to do with him being a terrible attorney for me, prior to her termination. I even had payment to hand over him as a thank you and was so furious with Tim that I kept it in my pocket, he didn’t deserve anything. Maybe he took out his anger on his paralegal on me, which is not what I would expect from a professional.
Like I said, the appeal has been filed, I’m grateful for new counsel, and the letter to the judge has been sent. I’m furious with the way this man treated me, he needs some serious people skills.
