Doesn't return calls. Horrible communication skills. As of yet I don't feel like he has done anything worth the money I invested. UPDATE: Fired this Public Pretender. He lied to me and forced me into a PFA, with video evidence of the "victim" stalking and harassing me.

Mr. Filia is a top notch attorney. He came highly recommended by a prior district attorney as the best in the area, and they were right! I Hired Michael Filia to assist with my divorce early 2021. Paid the $1000 retainer, filled the information packet he sent me. He proceeded to not answer me more than maybe once a month, before completely stopping any communication and taking my money. I believe i still have the receipt, he literally just ripped me off, and when i tried to write this review in the past for some reason it wouldn't go through.

Mr Filia is the most professional person I have ever worked with. I unfortunately had 4 cases. he had one reduced and the other three he worked out deals that just don't happen. I hold him in high regards. He has been here for me through an through. this is the best attorney in PA. You would be foolish not to hire him because he will get you the best results. Had a criminal case that only involved ard in the end. Paid him 4000 as he requested . He told me it would be an easy case and he would refund my money that wasn't used. This was going on for 2 years. He showed up in court a total of 3 times for me and it was to just file paperwork. Then he didn't have to fight the judge for anything nor the state. I called him so many time at his office and on his cell. They tell me they will relay the message and I never get it. And he never calls me back. He told me several time he would go through paperwork to see what he owed me. He owes me no matter the 2000. And more than likely he owes me some of the other 2000. Worst attorney I ever had. Reported him to the state bar also.

Highly recommended. Explained everything in detail throughout the whole court process and got me the results I wanted.

Well started to do case for custody , said he would represent me then says he can't represent bc my ex had him in the past , so I should be entitled to a full refund have yet to receive my money back from him , he's not a professional attorney

I hired Attorney Filia for a family members legal trouble and from the first phone call he was positive and very professional. He was also not judgmental at all. He said he would try to get the charges reduced but he did one even better and ended up getting the charges dropped. I would recommend him 100x over.
