I had a bad car accident a few years ago. I called another personal injury firm who passed me on to Simon and Simon. They responded very quickly, got me into treatment, responded timely to all of my calls and emails and were very patient when, because of my concussion and memory issues, I couldn’t remember some of their names or the last person I had talked to. Joshua Baer was my attorney and was extremely compassionate to my worries, my stress level, and the impact my permanent injuries might have on the rest of my life. My best tip: call Simon and Simon directly so that the other firm does not receive compensation for just a referral. I have no complaints about Simon and Simon or anyone in any of their departments who I dealt with. Everybody was extremely understanding and very engaged in my case. Thank you all so much!

Have been a client of Simon and Simon for 5 years now as a result of a car accident. The personnel with whom I worked at Simon & Simon were professional, courteous and personable. The only reason the firm did not receive a five star rating was the fact that I needed to make the follow-up contacts. There were two long periods of time, one of seven months and one of 10 months, when I heard nothing about my case. It makes me wonder how long the process would have taken had I not made the phone calls to inquire about the status of the case. Once the case was brought to someone's attention, there would be a response at the time of contact. However, I would need to make the follow-up contacts again to learn what progress was being made on the case. It would have been nice if someone had a tickler file and every once in a while just sent me some type of update. I have been told I tend to be more patient than most. Perhaps had I been more assertive in calling or emailing sooner, my case may not have taken as long as it did to be settled. If I were to need a personal injury firm, which I hope I never do, I would use Simon & Simon again. I would simply make my own tickler file and contact the firm on a regular basis to keep my case on top of the pile.

I never had an accident before and didn't had any experience of how the injury lawyers work. After doing some research on internet I found this company. Talked to them and also had a great response in the beginning. But after couple of weeks they showed their real colors. Tried calling them about the time window for my case and they stopped receiving my calls. Even blocked my number. After 6 months i get a call from one of their employees saying i am the one who is no being responding to their calls (they never called). The saga went on and on for almost 2 years for a case which could have been handled in couple of months. I could have went to the BAR association and filed a complain against you guys but i chose not to but i would never recommend this company to anyone. They are very unethical, unprofessional, and will keep you in circles for no reason. Please save some time and look for some other company for help!!!!

Before I get to my review, I want to start by saying that before you pursue anything legal, you should know what you're getting into. Most of the bad reviews on here seem to come from a misunderstanding of how going to court even works. There is an attorney's cut (40%) and there are separate court costs. And then there are the medical expenses. This quickly adds up. I was unbothered by this, since I knew it going in. I worked with Simon & Simon for a good chunk of time, almost 4 years. My accident was in October of 2016. I settled in the Summer of 2020. The drawn out period had very little to do with my legal representation and everything to do with the defendant and their counsel in my case, so I can't complain about that. And during that time, I got to know a lot of people at the firm extremely well. Every 3 months, I would give them a call myself and politely ask for updates. It got to the point that they expected to hear from me routinely. Sadly, my favorite employee left the firm and moved on to different things, but I didn't have a problem with anyone there. There were times when the other staff weren't as familiar with me or how timely I preferred my updates, but I had an open communication with my attorney. Whatever they didn't tell me, he would. He sent me many emails, calls, and text messages when important deadlines were coming. Any lapses in communication were met with a mutual understanding that the world does not revolve around me nor vice versa. My case was called to court extremely short notice due to some annoying events all caused by my local courthouse (like the assigned judge not stating she had a personal relationship with the defendant until, oh what, like 5 minutes after we had assembled??? And then dumping us on a colleague who had maybe a whole 45 seconds to review our case and pull a plan out of his behind). Luckily, my attorney was able to handle everything with grace and professionalism and helped me feel like I was in control when everything was falling apart around us. I would recommend them to anyone, not just people who have limited tort. However, be mindful before you pursue a suit against anyone because these things take a long time and they don't always seem worth it - especially if you're pursing action against a corporation.

The attorneys and staff were very pleasant and helped me through the entire process in a professional manner. They answered all my questions and made it seem so easy. I would definitely use them again if the need ever arises. I highly recommend them.

Everyone I spoke with was very sympathetic and helpful. They made sure I understood all the steps in the process and answered any questions I had promptly. While I hope I never need legal assistance again, I would definitely work with them again if the need arises.

Simon and Simon were great! My Lawyer was Awesome and every time I called, emailed or faxed! And believe me it was a lot they answered very professionally. It took a while for the Settlement only because we were In the middle of a Pandemic but they got me more than I expected. I’ll definitely use them again. Halimah Johnson
