I’ve been working with Shanna for about a year now on my Adjustment of Status to become a Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). Shanna was well informed on processes and diligent on any paperwork I submitted. She proactively followed up with USCIS numerous times for updates until my case was settled. She responds to my messages within a couple of hours and was very patient and positive. I highly recommend working with her.

My husband and I hired Shanna to handle my immigration case. I required an Adjustment of Status through Marriage, after being on an H1B Visa for three years. From the moment we met her, Shanna showed us she was extremely familiar with similar cases; she informed us about every single step involved in the process from the start. I started working with Shanna Stanton about 3 years ago and I wasn't dissapointed. She helped me with the green card application and accompanied me to the interview. My case wasn't usual - my husband wasn't able to attend the interview with me. Shanna had a solution for this unusuall problem and she was wonderful representing me and my husband. My husband (US citizen) and me (F-1 visa holder) applied for my green card on May 2012. We had a consultation with Shanna to go over the application process and expectations. When Peter moved on to bigger and better things near the end of our case, and left us in Shanna's hands, my wife and I were a little nervous at first. Shanna proved to be very patient and an excellent lawyer. When we found out at the interview that the i693 was not filled out properly, Shanna went out of her way to hand deliver the corrected form the next morning. We received the approval in the mail two days later. We couldn't have been happier.

I don't usually give a 100% to anyone in terms of a review, but in this case it is warranted. The whole process of getting our green card was enjoyable and easy with this firm and Shanna from day one. We didn't even retain them at first and they were still kind to assist us. They deserved our business, and they earned it! We have a young baby and really were afraid that we would be unable to keep my husband in the country for a few reasons, but in the end we worked it all out and the firm was kind to assist in all of our inquiries and helped us to change our status from B-2 Visa to Green card!!!
