Doug is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable estate attorney. He will listen to you and make a strong effort to understand your wants and desires and will quickly steer you away from bad ideas. At times, he can seem a little cold and detached, but I suspect that is only because he is thinking about how to convert your desires into legalities. I highly recommend him.

We have known Dave for many years and are so glad that we turned to him to update our wills, powers of attorney and living wills. He is very knowledgeable and we feel that he included coverage for any contingency that could arise. Dave was excellent at explaining the options in understandable terms and providing guidance for our situation. We are extremely satisfied with the experience and highly recommend him.

David Frees is an amazing attorney. He guided my wife and I through our estate planning. He offered multiple options and gave us his best thinking given our situation. He also talked through potential life changes and how that will affect us in the future. We will use David for all of our future needs. We recently updated our estate plan with Unruh, Turner, Burke and Frees. We've been with them since 2017 and they have been great. Doug Kaune worked with us this time and he is great at explaining how to accomplish what we want to with our estate documents. The staff at the firm are also outstanding and every one is very helpful. We plan to continue using them in the future.
