Like you, I scrolled through review after review searching for the right Attorney to represent my (possible) upcoming case. I called Shrager Defense after seeing a billboard that stated "Don't be scared, be prepared"- to say I was scared is an understatement. I called the office, and asked to speak with Attorney Lyle Dresbold. At this time, I had no official mail stating criminal charges, nor did I pay any money to the firm. Lyle listened very carefully to my story, answered any questions that I had, and advised me to call back if & when I received charges. Sure enough, there they were. I received my first ever court date, facing 3 charges; Simple assault, Harassment- subject other to physical contact, and Reckless Endangering another person. These charges resulted from a woman over twice my age physically attacking me, then submitting a completely fraudulent statement to the police. She also claimed I caused multiple injuries to her (which were her own drunk doing) and planned to have her doctor testify. To be clear, she was the witness. This case was me vs. the police. Why did I hire Lyle? What made me absolutely sure he was the best attorney for me? Before I even spent a penny, he still listened to me as if I paid the retainer in full. He always kept me calm, even through shaking tears. He kept perfect communication along the way, and ensured to let me know what would be happening and when. When the court date came, Lyle took the wheel & put me in a safe back seat, while he plowed over every ridiculous accusation by cross examinating the witness. He took the time to be absolutely sure of what I would settle with, and what I wouldn't. He held a smile that just glistened with confidence in himself & his ability to expose the truth. After a short time, Lyle presented me with a non-traffic citation + a fine, or the option to go to trial. Instead of extending four months of extreme worry, I took the huge victory, paid it in full, and washed my hands of the most stressful legal thing I have ever experienced! Let that sink in... Three charges on a criminal docket- GONE! AT THE PRELIMINARY HEARING! I could not have chosen better representation!! I also had so much help from a very kind woman in the office named Erin. She too answered many questions that I had, and ensured I knew all of the tiny details about my public record, the case we just settled, my future, etc. Do yourself a favor, and give this firm a call! Lexington Law worked quickly to dispute erroneous credit reporting and they were able to bring my credit score up at a rapid pace. Staff was very good at communicating and updating me on different issues. The website helped me to monitor my progress.
