Very nice people to work with

I hired Attorney Kelvin Morris through a referral from another attorney in Allegheny County. Attorney Kelvin charged me $10,000 for the case but demanded that all money be paid up front. Once on the case Attorney Kelvin did nothing to move forward the case but request my informal discovery that’s it for 6 months leaving me a couple months to prepare for trial. I called him few times to check on status of my case to see if did any independent discovery or investigation never did. I called an another time to voice my displeasure but he got mad told me he withdrawing from my case. At this point I told him I would like my money return to me for the $8500 he said he would return. He is now refusing to give me my money so I can hire new representation for myself. He using the court to procedurally hinder me to hire representation by keeping my money of $8500 that’s owe to me. Do not hire this guy he is too emotional and money hungry. I really thought this guy had my best interest in heart but now I see he trying to keep money he didn’t work for on my case.

I was very happy with how Scott Glassmith handled my case. He made me feel like my case mattered from day one, and I was treated very professionally! I will recommend Scott to my friends and family if they are ever in need of legal services!

We had a really bad experience. Charles Voelker began working on our estate for weeks before disclosing an astronomical hourly rate. He communicated in a very disrespectful fashion to my family several times. We sent important documents regarding assets/liabilities, and set up a quickbooks account for the estate, and he never opened any of them. Anything he "advised" us on was only for his financial interests in mind, and not with the clients'/estate's best interests. He is currently trying to charge us $6,000 for estate work when all what was done so far was open the estate. Everything was handled poorly and we unfortunately have to file a formal complaint with the PA Bar due to the recklessness and unethical business practices that we witnessed and experienced. Losing a parent is tough already. My experience working with this business was a true slap in the face especially when he touted being close friends with my late father. We have terminated our relationship and hired a new attorney.

I am so thankful that God directed us to Matzus Law after our car accident. We were told by one firm that our case was not worth what we owed in medical bills. We disagreed and so did Jason. He and his staff did an excellent job fighting for us! We highly recommend Matzus Law Firm!
