From my first meeting with Valerie May to my follow-up conversations with her associates I was thoroughly impressed. Promises were delivered. What more could I ask?

She is not into getting your money, but the ultimate goal of Valerie and her staff at the May Law Group (MLG) is success and your best interests as a client. This top-notch law firm has the unusual fortitude of taking formidable cases other immigration firms or lawyers would rather (politely) turn down. Mine and my wife’s are the instant and best example of the ones to cite. Yesterday, Valerie and her prominent staff members like Rachel, Beth, etc., I took the Oath to become as an American…needless to mention the process of my Green Card and my wife’s attained under Valerie’s meticulous work, research and among others. The lawyers and paralegals at the MLG in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York City have excellent interpersonal skills and can develop trusting relationships with everyone they work with, particularly the clients. This legal team has undoubtedly excellent analytical skills and is able to readily make sense of, say in unusual cases. They love the art of preparing a legal strategy which usually requires an extensive amount of research in each case; and they are able to find and comprehend pertinent pieces of information. Too, they are able to think logically and make reasonable judgments and assumptions based on information presented. However, in cases that are hopelessly doomed, Valerie and her team can really be creative and are able to think of reasonable solutions when problems and unique situations arise. The art of legal professionalism and perseverance are not only talked about at the MLG but more importantly practiced and accomplished. Often, cases require many hours of work with heavy research and lots of writing. But the MLG lawyers, paralegals and legal assistant are willing to put in the time it takes to get the job done. Each member of the MLG has excellent writing skills which are used in preparing compelling arguments, explanation of particular situations to questions/requests by the immigration officials, briefs, motions, and other legal documents. I can firmly attest to the fact that the MLG lawyers and paralegals have excellent public speaking skills and are comfortable addressing a courtroom. They can also easily handle speaking in front of other groups. When all is said and done, if you have an immigration case, complex or otherwise, it is worth asking the MLG to handle it. In essence, travelling all the way from, say California, Texas, Illinois, Connecticut, Washington or Massachusetts to any of the three MLG offices (Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York City) will confidently lead to celebration and allow you to pursue your dream…I was in your shoes. But no more! I will enthusiastically recommend the MLG to anyone who is facing immigration difficulties.

They did an excellent job with our 601 waiver which was approved. Although Valerie was our attorney we interacted mainly with her paralegal, Alison, who was excellent. They are clearly very experienced, exceeded all of our expectations, and I never had trouble getting timely responses to any questions had. Highly recommend.

I have been struggling to get my spouse to live legally in the United States since 2004. My spouse needed to file a Waiver to get his U.S. Green Card.
