I was accused of hitting a parked car with my work truck while I was on a job. A police officer called me to inform me of this which was shocking to me because I had no damage what so ever to my truck. The police officer gave me little information about what had happened and really didn't care about my side of the story. The cop didn't even want to know the name of the co-worker I had working with me that day. The officer said he would be in touch with me and never was. About 3 or 4 weeks later, I received 2 citations in the mail. It was like sign here and send us a check, shocking this is how the system works. To this day I still have no clue how much damage was even done to the other persons vehicle. I could have plead guilty and paid the fine by mailing in the citations but I would of had no clue what the punishment would be or what would go on my record. I immediately knew I needed to call a lawyer. Being from the area, I knew Phil Masorti has worked some big cases but I never actually knew how good he was. After reading all of his outstanding reviews, I knew right away he was the lawyer I wanted. I called Phil on a Friday and by Saturday, I had a scheduled meeting with him. He was that fast on responding, something that is highly unusual for lawyers. During the meeting, Phil had me go over my work day when I was accused and had me go over every little detail as possible. Phil went over the circumstances and the possible punishment I was facing. Through it all, Phil reassured me we had a good fighting chance and told me to plead not guilty. The man seemed almost excited about my case, like he was ready to battle. I have to say though, this made me more at ease with the situation. I don’t know if it was solely because I had Phil as my lawyer but before the trial date, the charges were withdrawn. Again, don’t waste your money or your time going anywhere else. Phil Masorti, will fight for you and your rights!

Called about a speeding ticket to see if it was worth arguing or not. Not only did Phillip pick up the phone on a "snow day" when everything is shutdown, he was upfront saying that I would be better suited if I simply paid the small fine. In simpler terms, he could have gotten me to pay for a large legal battle and profited, but he was looking out for my best interest when I wasn't even a client yet. Speaking to his candid, honest background, we discussed him growing up with his father being a butcher and how that simplistic upbringing made him always look for the best options for people regardless of his profit. Great guy with an honest law practice.

I was charged with two misdemeanors. After speaking to several lawyers, I was advised to settle for ARD courses and take a year probation along with community service. I was irate about this because I know the cop was wrong. I know I did not deserve what they wanted me to settle for. Right before I decided to settle, I spoke to Phil. He listened to my story. He believed what I had to say and decided he wanted to represent me in court. We went through the details and options for the case. He genuinely wanted to help me get these two charges dismissed. Masorti even drove to where I had the encounter with the officer and went through everything in detail. We then got back to his office and he came up with a strategic plan. Long story short we went to court and he made the cop and the prosecutor look like rookies. He controlled the entire hearing and got me acquitted of the offenses. Charges were dropped with no ARD, community service, or probation. I was so impressed he was able to do this in the preliminary trial. Now let me tell you about the person he is. From the moment I spoke to Phil I realized that this wasn’t going to be cheap. I tried to scrap together money to pay him by the time we meet but I came up short. I called Phil and told him I don’t think I can afford him. He could hear the worry and stress in my voice. He says to me “man you’re court date is soon and I don’t want to just drop you and let you face this by yourself. Just bring what you have and we’ll deal with the rest later”. I headed out to state college and meet up with Masorti for the first time. After he interviewed me and we went through things in detail, I emptied my pockets and gave him all that I had. I then told him, I spent $50 round trip just to get my finger print and picture taken. I also let him know that I had to probably take a cab to the court house and back. He asked if I had any money to do that I said no. Then he asked me if I had any money to eat while I was out there and I said no. He then asked me if I had money to catch a bus back to NY and I replied no. He took about $100 of money I paided him and gave it back to me to take care of myself while I was out there. I was shocked, because I already came up short. He then drove me back home from his office and even picked me up for my hearing. He actually cared about me and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. He didn’t know me from a hole in the wall but he did whatever was necessary to make sure I was good and stress free. In the court room this man is a beast. He controls the situation and dominates with so much joy and a excitement. He loves what he does and you can feel it. The man will go to war for you and won’t stop until you get what you want. He is hands down the best lawyer and even a better person. One of the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. All in all, if u have a criminal case he is definitely your defense lawyer.

I hired Phil right after I got charged with 2 citations. What sets him aside from other lawyers is that he genuinely wants what is best and cares for his clients. I did not feel as if I was talking to a lawyer but rather someone a part of my family who wanted the best for me. To make it short, with the help of Phil's expertise, wisdom, and dominance, both of my citations got thrown out. He was on top of things every step of the way and not once did I feel as if I hired the wrong lawyer. I will recommend Phil to my friends/ family if they are ever looking for a lawyer.
