Timothy and his staff were great in helping me with my divorce. They answered my questions and explained everything to me when I needed it. I would definitely recommend this law office.

I found Tim by accident while going through my current divorce and could not be happier with the results. His incredible professionalism and candor made a very trying and complicated experience seem almost effortless, despite constant curve balls I threw at him. I always felt as if Tim had my best interest in mind when addressing both myself and opposing council. I was informed of my case every step of the way and would recommend his office to anyone seeking legal counsel .

If you're looking for a lawyer that's going to be rude and nasty to you as a potential client, Tim is your guy. He was so nasty to my sister that she cried after his phone call. 0/10 stars, would not recommend.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a client of Timothy M. Sweet for almost a year and a half at this point. I won’t bore anyone with the details of my case, but I can state the following all occurred since working with him: - I have full placement of my daughters - Opposing attorney was unsuccessful in any demands - I received over $7,500 back from Child Support - Mr. Sweet went into my original case (prior to retaining his services) and ensured past orders were enforced/updated. This lead to the discovery of other money being owed to me. - Most importantly, my daughters have been out of an unsafe/tumultuous environment The care and attention to detail in my very trying case given by he and paralegal Mrs. Kelsey Chmielewski were unmatched. I hate to sound cliche, but I was given the amount of attention to warrant the “only client” feeling. This is far from a mercenary attorney’s office, the #1 priority at all times was and continues to be the welfare of my family. At no point was I treated as a balance owed, conversations with either of them always began with “How are the girls?” or “How can I help?” As a father in Rhode Island, the absolute worst feeling comes from sitting through divorce and custody hearings. Never feels like anyone is on our side, always feels like the deck is stacked against us. Retaining Mr. Sweet doesn’t magically make everything go away, but many of the stresses and anxieties will be taken off your plate. The day Mr. Sweet entered my case was similar the scene in Avengers Endgame when a beaten to hell Captain America (me) was staring into sure annihilation by Thanos and his army. Sam Wilson (Mr. Sweet) chimes in with the famous “On your left” and shows up with a cavalry that wipes them off the map.

Attorney Sweet helped my husband with a child support case where the mother /state looking for support 13 years after child was born. This was a very unique case and Atty Sweet was always prompt in answering all of our questions. The fee was very reasonable as well. We would highly recommend his services.

He’s amazing at his job. He was my custody lawyer which is a very personal and emotional experience. And he was seriously beyond great. He cared about me & my son and fought the battle for us. I couldn’t have been happier than deciding to go with him as a lawyer.

Started off very nice then disappeared for months only to reappear at time of court appearance leaving me with no options. Didn’t provide any options or hear me that my mothers child was having her bills paid by her mother. Which recently changed hence the sudden ask in increase in pay. Sad and left feeling truly hopeless and wronged by the court system. Oh also gave me no updates that the defendants lawyer wanted documents leading up to latest hearing only to dismiss himself without my knowledge at the start of the court date. I was left to defend myself. Only word that comes to mind is coward.

I cannot begin to describe how happy I am that I had Timothy represent me! As an ACTIVE DUTY, SINGLE FATHER, my divorce was seemingly never ending. After 16 months, two previous lawyers, over 10k spent, and an attempt to go Pro Se... I felt lost. I found Timothy after exhaustive research. I was scared and felt like I had nowhere to go. After my first conversation with Timothy, I felt like I once again had HOPE. Timothy listened to me, asked what I was seeking, and in LESS THAN A MONTH my divorce was final. The combination of Timothy and Kelsey (his legal assistant) made me feel like I was their NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. They were exceptionally professional, exhibited masterful communication, and in the end... DELIVERED! I'm still in shock that he was able to successfully conclude my nightmare divorce and on terms that I am more than comfortable with.

I hired Mr Sweet to resolve a child support issue as well as visitation issues. He far exceeded any expectations I began with and represented my interests as well as my child. I would recommend him to anyone looking for this type of lawyer.

Horrible attorney, never responded back to emails/texts/phone calls I missed a court hearing because he told me it was virtual, he appeared on my behalf but never advised the outcome, I had to learn elsewhere as to what was said, couldn’t get in contact with him. Sweet is definitely not worth the money as he does NOTHING but keeps billing, I would not recommend him.
