I attempted to do the SSDI process on my own two different times and was denied ( after very long waits.) I decided it was time to get some representation, and after a lot of searching, I chose Rob Levine Law. From day one they were so friendly and professional. I retained the Robert Levine law firm on August 4, 2023 for my VA disability, And then removed them on April 1, 2024, as I was not happy with their service. Prior to hiring them, I had a case at the board of Veterans Appeals waiting on a judge to rule on since August of 2022. When your case is waiting on the judge, no new evidence can be presented. The Robert Levine law firm had no stake in that case whatsoever, as they did not represent me in 2022. The Appeal Judge ruled in my favor last month for the case in 2022. The VA had to pay almost 5 years (original date of claim) back pay. The Robert Levine law firm claimed and took 20 % of my back pay, for something they had nothing to do with… When I called their office and asked about it, they acknowledged they had nothing to do with the case and said, "if you want your money back file an appeal with the VA". The ethical thing to do would have been returned the money to the veteran as the "Rob Levine law firm" did not represent me and did absolutely nothing to earn 20% of my entitled back pay. Fellow Veterans, You’ve been warned! Be careful of these VA disability lawyers out here….. Use your VSO!
