My ex and I asked her to adjust our child support amount and we go they the state. She not only did not finish the job but filed the wrong paperwork and isn’t taking responsibility to fix the issue since she has since been paid and thinks it’s not her fault But ours. She was my ex’s lawyer and we both were unhappy and she cause a great deal of issues for us and never really cares about the case to even know what state he lives in. Worst family lawyer ever encountered. First time using her was to simply put an already talked about child visitation in place. Then she was going to argue with me on a holiday he didn’t want nor ask for and almost caused conflict between us over the matter. If you want someone that doesn’t really care about your issue or case and who just wants to be paid and done with it and act like she knows everything then by all means she’s your gal. Said there was no garnishment, knew nothing about our case when we asked for a mutual change in child support, kept saying CT when the one who hired her ( my ex) lives in NY. She did not ask for details or really care to look too much into what we asked and just assumed it was open and closed then when we came to her to tell her she did not file the right documents and asked her to rectify what had happens took no responsibility in it at all. Very negligent. And that is the truth. What we asked her to do we ended up doing ourselves and room much less time. She wasted our time and his money, she wasn’t even my lawyer and I feel bad for him and the outcome. If you want a negligent lawyer, who doesn’t really care about your case then she’s your lawyer.

Was just looking for a bit of advice/help to see if its even worth me hiring an attorney and Susan was less helpful with her information than me asking a public trash can. Thanks for nothing.

Had her services for over two years..12,000..paid..got nothing..just got walked over by my ex spouse .things needed to be filed she asked for more money..told her ill do it myself..got more done doing it myself than she did over two years..sad..in response to your answer you didn't help my situation when I needed it but asked for more money to file important documents..sorry, thats why I had to go to the court myself to file what needed to be filed..

Susan has represented me for a couple of matters and has done an excellent job doing so. Extremely responsive and is always there if I have any questions at any time. I highly recommend Susan for anyone looking for great attorney services! She is the best!
