The nasty attitude came from Haylen. Apparently she's still there.

I would give a 0 review if I could. I called to make sure my payment went through and the lady on the phone said I made the payment wrong (two separate HOA’s and I paid the entire balance to one HOA). I asked why no one contacted me to let me know and she had the WORST attitude and told me it wasn’t their job to call people when they do things wrong. I asked her how I would know if no one told me?! Just so happened I called and found out that way. She tried to flip it on me saying I was screaming at her. I was so blown away by that because I was NOT screaming. She continued to talk over me while saying I was screaming at her and I am almost positive she was trying to look like a victim in front of whoever was around her. It was the WORST, most UNPROFESSIONAL phone call I’ve ever experienced. I still cannot believe she kept accusing me of screaming when I was simply trying to figure out what the next step is and how to fix the problem! I am so disgusted with this lady and her awful attitude.

Haylen is your point of contact here and extremely rude and starts every call with an attitude. I wanted to pay off my balance owed and finally got a call back this morning from Haylen Hammond at McCabe Trotter and Beverly. She started the call with an angry attitude and I said, "I never received a letter stating my correct balance so I don't know what to pay. I assumed I would get a bill or statement with this info and I would like to pay it and get this resolved," but she said, "no I told you the balance over the phone and late fees will continue to be added until it's paid" and said I wasn't to be given a correct bill and that I can send in a recommendation to someone on that... I'm just to pay it based on her word over the phone. She was extremely rude and she then said, "I don't have time to listen to you or any monologue" and she hung up on me. I don't know what kind of business she thinks she's in but that's not how you treat people and especially people calling in to PAY and in return I'm only asking for a bill stating the correct amount due. A correct bill should have been sent in the first place. My baby was sleeping at the time of this call so my voice was almost whispered and could no way be taken for loud and/or argumentative, I was just trying to get my payoff info and get it paid. Update: so I got on a payment plan and it's a $20 convenience charge for every payment you submit.

This is THE WORST customer service I have ever had when talking to anyone in there office!I was calling to get a receipt from a payment I have sent in.They refused to help me in anyway and refused to answer any of my questions.All they would say is that case is closed.They should be ashamed of themselves in how they handle there quality assurance!

The amount of knowledge this firm has is beyond the rest. I trust them the most when it comes to handling community association law. I have been present for presentations they have given as well as received excellent work they have done.

I am 100% agree with other reviewer that if I could give below 1 star then I would have... They don't deserve 1 star also..The worst company I have ever dealt with ... Attorney who was handling my case stephanie trotter with Haylen Hammond was hard to reach with very rude and arrogant attitude ... I was late on my HOA payment due to death in my family and they are not willing to consider and was threatening me for foreclosure of the property despite of me providing death certificate... Also very late in response and I have to keep following to get my answers.. Charged me some random fees for which they have no EXPLANATION ... but they said it is valid as they know that people are not going to seek legal advise against them,.... I would not recommend anyone to go with this firm for any legal advise.

I have 2 words to describe these people - bottom feeders.. These are the types of attorneys that give attorneys a bad name and the reason why the stereotypes exist.. They are definitely the slick Eddie, used car salesmen of the legal world.. They have their hands in the very unregulated home owners association business.. And this is a business that will foreclose on hapless, innocent homeowners who miss their HOA dues - and then can't afford to pay them, along with the astronomical late/lien fees Mccabe charges to bring them current..They are raking in money hand over fist - along with the crooked HOA management companies..Its a huge racket..This must be stopped and regulations put in place.. I honestly don't know how these people sleep at night or have any conscience... They are morally and ethically bankrupt.. Anybody that's in business to profit off of somebody else's tragedy or ill will is one of the lowest forms of human life, and will not prosper in the long run..

Need I say any more than anyone else! Haylen is very rude and gives a terrible representation of the company! They are unprofessional, disrespectful and charges fees for their shortcomings!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

Trotter and the liars at the firm are beyond a disgrace. Not willing to listen to homeowners and legit complaints. They are quick to wanting their money and making threats on foreclosing your home if you don't pay them. They don't listen to other lawyer that ask for waivers or considerations. McCabe, Trotter & Beverly have their names all over lawsuits against them for their nasty practice. Too many violation in the neighborhood that go against the HOA but these liars won't take responsibility to collect fees from those that actually violate. Instead they are going after the individuals that are hard working, honest people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with a bunch of liars that have their names spread across the web for horrible practice.
