I have had Harden law represent me in divorce proceedings and subsequent custody litigation over a span of 5 years. Harden law firm is honest, direct and lets you know the realistic outcome. Haley & Billy are not going to make you an unrealistic promise. They will often remind you family court can be unpredictable nothing is guaranteed. They will guide you and make sure you are putting your best foot forward. Personally, we have never lost in court. Every situation is different , I can only speak from my experience. We have gone up against several different lawyers through out the years. I have seen Haley at trial, mediation, ex- parte and non ex- parte hearings. She is a talented lawyer , who will not do something just to please her client. She is not going to set you or herself up for failure. If she thinks you're out of line she will say so. A lot of your legal success depends on you , you need to have your documents together, note and keep EVERYTHING and listen to your lawyer. The more organized you are the more they can focus on addressing the issues and getting you to the finish line. Always, send Diane an email and ask her to add whatever it is to your file. Keep hard copies of everything and organize it by date. If you have a dragged out litigation this may come in handy years down the road ( trust me). Legal representation is costly but I feel pro se can cost you more in the long term. I researched multiple law firms over the years and I found their fee structure to be fair and in most cases overall more affordable. You get big firm representation with a small business relationship. They break down the cost and outline it up front. Haley & Billy are respected members of the York county community and their representation speaks for itself. I have always been responded to within 48hours ( many times they were not currently retained I just had a question). I wasn't pushed off to a legal team, Haley would respond . Appointment requests were always granted quickly , typically the week of. I know Haley rearranged things to get me in sometimes because it was urgent. If she couldn't meet me in person she set up a call to address my concerns. The staff is wonderful! Diane even called me once on a Sunday before she left for vacation to see if I needed anything ,who does that ?! I am always greeted at the office with a smile, and any forms or documents I needed have always been sent to me in a timely manner. No one wants to deal with the nightmare that is family court. I assure you no one is excited to walk into that office . However, it is nice to have someone handle it for you. Allow them to handle it you're paying them to deal with it. I would never want to practice family law but I am so glad there are kind , compassionate people who do. I wouldn't hesitate to retain them again .

Christina and her staff went out of their way to make my wife and I feel very comfortable from the first time we met. She made sure we both understood everything from the processes of the court to the cost structure. She also explained that we also had to be active in the process. If you dont need to go to court, I would sugest not to. But as far as a Family Attorney, I highly recomend Christina Thompson and staff for their professionalism, compassion and experience
