Like others who have submitted reviews here, I searched the internet for a criminal defense attorney in the Spartanburg area to represent my young adult child in a misdemeanor offense. As an attorney myself, I was aware that some skilled criminal defense attorneys may not accept misdemeanor cases and, that when they do, they may not prioritize them in light of the lesser legal fees involved. I also was aware of how important it was to find an attorney who had developed strong working relationships with the local prosecutors and who had earned their respect. Therefore, I looked for an attorney who had actually worked as a prosecutor in the same judicial district where my child was charged. Based on my research, Attorney AnneMarie Odem seemed to be a perfect fit so I reached out to her for a call. During out initial call, Ms. Odom took the time to allay my fears and seemed sincerely interested in my child's case and wellbeing. She clearly had the experience and relationships necessary to achieve a favorable outcome for my child, but it was Ms. Odom’s interest and concern about my child which made her stand out. My child and I had a great first meeting with Ms. Odom in her office during which she laid out for us how she would approach my child's case and the outcome she would work toward. My child decided to hire Ms. Odom and today, the matter is behind us and we are thrilled to say that Ms. Odom achieved the best possible outcome for my child given the facts of the case. From our first communications with Ms. Odom through today, six months following my child's court date, Ms. Odom was/has been proactive, responsive, respectful and compassionate. Selecting Ms. Odom to help my child navigate the criminal justice system in Spartanburg was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Thank you, AnneMarie!

AnneMarie Odom is New to this being on her own , but she one of the Best ! She is honest , trustworthy, and when she say she gonna do her best she Go above and beyond and give it all she have. She is down to earth she gonna keep every thing legit with you and prepare u for the good and the bad . This lady never gave up on my son and she looked at him and new right then he was innocent and she did not sugar coat anything with him . But she worked her tail off to get my son charges dismissed and kept him out of the courtroom. So if you are looking for a lawyer Mrs Odom is the the one for you and your family . I will definitely be using her again but I pray I don’t have to anytime soon . But please give her a try and she is very reasonable and work with you with your payments . Thank you Marie , Nadia
